I see Dr Sambursky every 6 months because I have dry eye I didn’t have to wait more than a few minutes nothin the waiting room or once placed in the examination room after the marvelous technician Irene completed the preliminary exam. Dr Sambursky takes time to explain what he is doing as well as answering my questions since I am also profoundly hearing impaired.

I see Dr. Sambursky regularly for my serious dry eye condition. Since I have been his patient, my condition has stabilized because I follow his instructions, use my drops and it works. I treasure my eyes and Dr. Sambursky and his associates do too.

Dr Sambursky performed Lasik surgery on both eyes and he did a fantastic job. Always professional and informative, he thoroughly explained the entire procedure and expected results as well as alternative treatment and other options. For me, I couldn't be happier with the Lasik results and Dr. Samburskey's care. Now I can drive at night, enjoy outdoor activities and sports, all glasses free.

Dr. Sambursky was on time every time, even though the office was crowded and had three waiting rooms. He examined me and described in detail the condition of both eyes. He asked for any questions and we had an interactive dialogue. I find it hard to find a doctor that will take the time to make sure you understand any problems and how to solve the problem, ie, what medicines to take and what each medicine is doing to help.

My experience with Dr. Robert Sambursky at Coastal Eye Institute was extremely positive. Dr. Sambursky recently performed lasik surgery on both of my eyes. The entire process, from initial consultation visit to the surgery follow up appointments, was extremely professional, organized and overall stress free and pleasant. His staff is amazing too! I would definitely recommend Dr. Sambursky to anyone considering lasik.

I am an attorney (50+ years) and have met many medical professionals in my life but none have impressed me more than Dr. Robert Sambursky. He was patient while explaining the procedure and when answering all of my questions. The operation was completed as explained with terrific results. The staff was as professional & helpful as Dr. Sambursky and all follow up visits were performed in a professional manner. I highly recommend Dr. Sambursky to anyone requiring eye surgery.

I had LASIK done by Dr. Sambursky about a year ago and I'm very glad I did because it was life changing! He explained to detail the procedure, which I was very nervous about. He was very open to all of the questions I had and answered them gladly. He makes sure that the patient has real expectations of the results, which in my case were exceeded! The staff is great: very friendly and courteous. I recommend Dr. Sambursky to any person I meet. I wouldn't trust my eyes to anybody else!

Dr Sambursky is a superstar who trained at Wills Eye Hospital for both his residency and cornea fellowship. Wills Eye is the finest eye training program in the world. If you want the best care available, seek him out.

We just returned home from the next-day follow-up visit for my husband's second cataract surgery. Our level of concern was high because of a compromised eye, a long-standing condition having nothing to do with care from this office. Dr. Samburshy treated our concerns with respect. His skill is outstanding. Both eyes have rebounded so well. We had hoped for the best possible outcome and have received it. The support staff is outstanding too!

I was seeing black floaters in my left eye called to make appt. right away. Dr. Sambursky got me in the same day. He did a thorough evaluation and explained in detail what the problem was. I was so worried and he made me feel at ease. I definitely will be a returning patient. I would highly recommend Dr. Sambursky to family and friends. Thank you so much Dr. Sambursky!!!

I went to him for LASIK in one of my eyes and he ruined my vision. Now I have permanent epiretinal membrane damage. The results were exactly the opposite of what I went there for. Instead of walking out seeing HD, I left like I’m looking through a piece of dusty wrinkled plastic wrap. I was never more dissatisfied with anything in my whole life. I need another operation to fix what he ruined. The staff told me he only does LASIK about 8 times a year. Stay away.
