Great, Understanding Doctor
Dr Schellenberg is a great doctor. He does his research of his patients’ history prior to meeting which is amazing. So once you’re in the office, it’s all about you and your health. Absolutely wonderful!

New Processes impact health and well-being
Have used Dr Schellenberg for many years routinely for esophageal stretching every few months. On schedule I called to set up the next procedure and his "new nurse" said that it would require a referral from the PCP. Anyone that understands insurance knows what a significant inconvenience it is for everyone involved to: make a new appointment, wait for that, see the PCP, wait for a referral, hope for a call back. This all can take weeks to months when the inability to swallow and process food is critical to well-being. As a new patient it would be understood. But not for someone that has had a recurring procedure every few months for years. If the Dr. knew what was going on he would fix it, but you are prevented from getting thru the front line gestapo to get to him. If we ever get this procedure scheduled and done, we will see a new doctor for future procedures and will miss Dr Schellenberg. Fix your processes and keep consistent.

Dr. Schellenberg was my doctor for my colonoscopy in November 2020. He talked to me before the procedure to explain what he'd do. Afterward he explained that everything went well, and he found one small polyp that would be sent off for testing. Later I received a letter that polyp was benign. I have great confidence in Dr. Schellenberg and highly recommend him.
