Horrible experience, waited over an hour for nothing, told short staffed, uncaring, runs like a mill, overbooked, don't go here, appointment scheduled for months, sat waiting for over an hour and a half, Absolutely the worst dr office I have ever been to.

Surgery Again!
Dr. Schultze performed my son's keratoconus surgery in December 2022. Unfortunately, that surgery was ineffective. Two years later, he had to have surgery on the same eye again. This time, we went to a different doctor. That surgeon explained that Dr. Schultze used a more experimental process called 'epithelium-on' rather than the more effective 'epithelium-off.' Keratoconus is a degenerative cornea disorder, so once the disorder progresses, not even surgery can reverse the damage. Because Dr. Schultze did not use epithelium-off, my son lost more of his vision and had to have a second surgery. Dr. Schultze never explained or informed us that he was using 'epi-on' instead of 'epi-off.' Lastly, I know that this surgery should last well beyond 2 years because my older son (now 24) had it done in Canada before it was FDA-approved in the U.S. when he was 12 years old. His eyesight has been stable since then.

Waiting for hours
Totally ridiculous. Expect a three hour wait to even see the doctor. They schedule about ten patients every 15 minutes. Even early morning appointments are backed up!

Dr Schultze is absolutely amazing and he has a great staff. After diagnosing my problem, he explained in detail the surgery needed , answered all my questions and I never felt rushed. Surgery went great and vision is better than ever. When I saw my optician after, he summed it all up when he said “Dr Schultze is a Rock Star” and I couldn’t agree more.

I accompanied my daughter, who was being evaluated for a rare cataract. It felt like we were being rushed out of the room. She is 21! Maybe we would have gotten more attention if I introduced myself as Dr. Clearly, we went elsewhere. Good luck!

After 30 years of being told I would lose the sight in my r. eye through many eye infections, two years ago I basically was considered blind with also no peripheral vision and a cataract. I was referred to Dr. Schultze for an evaluation. Dr. Schultze was quite confident that he could help me see again which he did. I again returned to him for a removal of a cataract on my l. eye this July. I would feel confident in recommending him to any family member/friend and return if I had any problem.

Dr. Schultze did an amazing job restoring my vision. Years ago I had lost vision in my right eye and was nervous knowing I needed cataract surgery in the left eye. Dr. Schultze was recommended by my opthamologist. The experience was remarkable for me and I am now seeing 20/20 in that eye. I am grateful to Dr. Schultze and the staff at Cornea Consultants for their very thorough and professional approach and setting my mind at ease. I could not have had a better experience!

Superior staff from top to bottom and office and surgical center. Follow up was immediate following cataract surgery and iol. Experience during surgery was actually a pleasant, comfortable and anxiety free. I hold Dr. Schultz in the highest esteem. Professional, knowledgable, and without question skillful. Which is why occasionally wait times may be a bit long as many people seek his services. Certainly worth the wait. Would highly recommend him to those would benefit from his specialty

Had to wait in lobby, waiting room full. Waited for 45 min before Doctor assistant called me,nice, she apologized for long wait. Put in another waiting room, also full, stood, then, went to desk and asked for Office Mgr, was told she was out and would be back. Waited 55min saw Dr Shultze, only spent 5 min with me. After 2.5 hrs done, asked for Office Mgr again, told she was in,20 min later head assistant talked to me,very nice, but never saw Office Mgr. after 3 hours asking for her - insulted
