Dr. Robert Shaw, MD

Good surgeon. However, I don't appreciate his political comments during follow up appointments.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in February of this year 2020 , I was referred to him by another survivor who chose Dr Shaw , I am recovering from my 4th surgery in 10 months from Dr Shaw and I can tell you I really felt care and compassion every single time I was in contact with Dr Shaw and his office , all of the staff is amazing , Kimberly and Kristen gets a shout out too , I’m truly blessed to have such a great team to get me through the scariest journey I have ever been on and I’m only a week post op from exchange surgery for Breast Reconstruction and I actually look like I did before breast cancer, it’s unbelievable and I am grateful!

Dr. Shaw and all of his staff, are amazing! They have explained everything to me, and held my hand the entire journey. They all really care about how you are and feel. I received a breast reduction, and I could not be happier. He did an outstanding job. I am so happy with the results, and the care i received before and after the sugary from the entire staff. Dr. Shaw has the best bedside manner, really listens to understand. A big shout out to: Dr. Shaw, Dr. Austin, Nick, Colin, Kristen, Pam

Dr Shaw is the very best plastic surgeon in Springfield,Mo. I would highly recommend him and his wonderful office staff if ever anyone is in need.

I've had 3 surgeries and lip fillers done by Dr.Shaw and am very happy with the work he did,i highly recommend him!

I have a patient of Dr. Share for 3 years. Within that time I have had several surgeries. Another this week. Dr. Shaw is compassionate and caring. Never rushes, his Kimberly is awesome. His expertise and knowledge is not shadowed by anyone. At almost 60, miracles are given by God. But you can grow old with pride with this man helping you along your path.

Dr. Shaw never asked if we were happy with the outcome. Even worse, when asked about concerens instead of listening he just gave a canned answer that hopefully it will improve over time or this is just the way it is...as he was taking off his gloves to run out the door. He seems to cares more about moving to the next account than making sure the individual is satisfied. It was like dealing with a timeshare salesman never knowing for sure what you are buying and ignored after the sale.

I feel he lacks empothy and cares more about getting to the next person scheduled. I payed him for three procedures. I'm very disappointed in the outcome. His revision policy is not fare so I highly recommend everyone to think twice about this doctor.

He is always very prompt with appointments, yet never makes you feel rushed. He has made a great commitment to making sure I felt satisfied with my results as a patient, and valued as a person. I have never had a doctor who I have felt such compassion from. He is the best!

Dr. Shaw performed a Bilateral Breast Reconstruction following my Bilateral mastectomy. The course of the treatment included breast tissue expanders implanted at the time of my mastectomies, removal of the breast expanders w/implantation of silicon breast implants, & nipple construction. This involved several visits (roundtrip = 200 miles). As a former surgical nurse, I rate my experience as excellent!! I was always treated with compassion & respect by Dr. Shaw and his staff.

Perfect. Does NA for Dupuytren's Contracture. Was fast, friendly, very efficient. Great manner and excellent PA. Did not have to travel to St. Louis to get this done. Very happy.

Saw him die two minutes. He said he would be back but never did and I had plenty of questions to ask that never got an answer.
