Dr. Robert Tonks, MD

Dr Tonks is such an amazing surgeon he is understanding and explains everything to you.. His office staff are so efficient and caring.

I had a partial hip replacement with this doctor because I went into the hospital on an emergency basis. He was not my choice and I regret having had him do the surgery because he left my legs with 2 inches difference and I will be limping for the rest of myLife thanks to him unless I have another surgery to undo what he did to me and that is something that I don’t know if i can do because it’s risky and im 81 years old When I went to see him after the surgery and he saw the difference in my legs all he said was, we can fix it with a shoe lift or we can do another surgery. He absolutely takes no responsibility for his actions, and I would not trust him at all. I have been in a nursing facility for five weeks with terrible pain lots of therapy and still limping my knees hurt because of the imbalance of my legs and I am unable to walk by myself I’m in a waker or wheelchair He has absolutely no empathy for his patients I never hear from him Terrible experience!!

I shattered my femur and after a bad first surgery from another Dr. Dr Tonks came in and fixed it right up. Giving me the best chance to walk normally again. Besides his skills as a surgeon, he has a great bed side manner and sense of humor. He really listens to you as well. Thank you Dr Tonks.

Beyond fabulous. I broke my femur and after only three days I am up moving around and putting weight on my leg. He explains everything very well and then listens to your concerns and answers appropriately. I travel for work so there is concern around blood clots. He addressed all concerns, gave pros/cons for each option. I am so thankful for his care.

I had shattered my pelvis and separated my shoulder along with a few other injuries about a year ago in a structure collapse. Dr. Tonks did a great job putting Me back together. I'm back to riding my bike something I didn't think would be possible again.
