Dr. Shaba was my dermatologist effective 11/6/2020 and she’s AMAZING. I’ve never had a dermatologist give my skin the attention that it needs. One of the front office lady’s’ is very rude. I’m not sure of her name as I check in and sit down and then I’m called. She has a tone of belittling someone and she speaks very loudly to over exaggerate her pretenses of being kind, but she isn’t kind at all. The reason for my call was that my insurance notified me that the service was declined and then one was processed for the same service and on the same day. I called my insurance and asked why. The insurance told me to contact my dermatologist clinic. I called and spoke with the young lady at the front desk and her tone was unrestrained and the volume of her voice continued to be disapproving. I asked if she could calm her tone, and to not speak with me in an unprofessional tone. She’s done so on numerous occasions. She’s comes off as a nice person until you ask questions and she became upset.

I've had an issues with AlphaGal for 5 years and FINALLY found someone who knows what I'm going through! I have a treatment plan now and life is good! I didn't feel rushed and felt like i had the Dr attention. -Mike Dell

I drove 2 hours to see him and very glad I did. Excellent experience. I was able to get many questions and concerns answered with the first visit due to good in office testing with same visit results! Being in the health care field myself, I recommend Dr. Valet highly. I have also never seen nicer office staff!

Dr Valet grew up in New York and after completing training and serving on faculty (Department of Medicine, Allergy and Immunology) at Vanderbilt, founded Traceside Dermatology and Allergy together with Amy Valet MD (dermatology).
