So lucky he was there for me
I entered the E.R. with what I suspected was kidney stones (had once before, never forgot that pain). After being admitted in for treatment, the Dr. on duty-on a Saturday morning, was Dr. van Volkenburgh. Thank goodness. Dr. van Volkenburgh saw me as soon as he could, and IMMEDIATELY ordered the EXACT and APPROPRIATE tests for me...actually, just to CONFIRM his suspected diagnosis. Limited characters in this form allow me to write sufficient praise here. But he was not only 100% COREECT and very EFFICIENT, but also very kind and PERSONABLE. I was extremely fortunate to have been treated by Dr. V. He is excellent. (I wish I could write more details here on this form).

Took care of my mother in ER. Didn't really show a lot of care. Much more interested in CYA. I think this is the same Dr that mis-diagnosed my husband yrs ago, thereby contributing to his death. I can't believe he's still there.

Dr. Van Volkenburgh was the only doctor who was able to help me!! I spent 2 weeks in and out of the E.R. with a "mystery illness". I was hospitalized 5 times and saw my primary doctor twice; no one could figure out why I had severe vertigo and kept collapsing. Thank goodness for Dr. Van Volkenburgh, who was in the E.R. this past Saturday and ran extra tests on me and gave me the Ceftriaxone IV I needed to help what was a very stubborn ear infection. I'm feeling so much better. Thank you, Dr. V!!
