Just don't care
I have been a patient of his for over 10 yrs. Always thought if him as not only my Dr but my friend. Until i started having difficulties with my health. When i should of been sent for further testing he would convince me my insurance wouldn't pay for a specific test or a different Dr. He's ignored my cries for help numerous times. So i went to a different Dr on my own. I'm less then a week diagnosed me with 3 different autoimmune diseases. 1 to which could end up killing me. And has immediately sent me for more tests. Most scary test was an API on my right leg. Because i have suffered with debilitating severe leg pain to the point my for goes numb and My toes turn deep purple. It came back that i have severe pulmonary artery disease. And because Dr vanderbrook choose to ignore it i may lose my big toe possibly my foot. I saved the text message from his office telling me he cancelled my test because he said that's not what i had. And to go to the ER if i thought it was that bad..

Dr. Van is a very good doctor! Having said this, his practice is now barely functioning because the office manager (wife) has no idea what is expected of a professional doctor's office. Responding to pharmacies texts for prescription refills takes at least a week. Test results lost or unable to be located. Forget call backs in a reasonable professional amount of time. Manager has issues or attitude problem. This is a good and caring doctor who can do many things. He needs a professional staff!

Dr V. is intelligent with plenty of experience. Takes his time and listens. Wonderful with patients but unquipped for babies. Office visit will go amazing but sadly after it's all down hill from there.  Emergency visits are non existent & prescription refills are entirely unreliable. Secretary (wife) is friendly until you leave & need her. Short, lacks empathy & takes days to respond to no avail. System is outdated. What could have been the best turned into nothing buf failed potential.
