Dr. Wetzel is the most knowledgeable, approachable, humble, amazing person and surgeon. He truly treats his patients like family, not like a number.

Dr. Wetzel was encouraging, informative, and thorough in all of our encounters. I previously had an experimental procedure on my hip to try to save it from being replaced with a different surgeon at a different hospital system. That surgeon would not listen to me about the pain and concerns I still had. Dr. Wetzel sat with me, listened, and made it clear he was on the same page with me on making sure my pain and suffering would come to an end. My total hip replacement surgery went very well. Him and his team were there every step of the way from pre-op to post-op! He was very honest and knowledgeable about how to treat his patients with dignity and respect. I cannot recommend him enough!

Dr. Wetzel was my surgeon for my hip replacement. From the time I met him I knew he was the right surgeon for me. We discussed the procedure, reviewed option and discussed possible complications. My surgery date was set. A few days later Dr. Wetzel enrolled me into an educational app. The app continued to prepare me for my surgery, post-op and recovery. Post-surgery went so smoothly because I was very prepared for everything that was going to happen. From the time I first stood up after surgery I have not had any pain in my hip. If you need a hip replacement I would definitely recommend Dr. Wetzel.
