inability to provide adequate care
we would like to share an unfortunate experience Dr. Robert Williams and his inability to provide competent care of geriatric patients. Our mother was hospitalized in 1/22 for sepsis, pneumonia and delirium. After hospitalization, she needed more care. A chest Xray was needed to have her admitted to a higher care level. She is 94, suffered from delirium, and was physically unable to bear weight. We spoke to Dr. William’s office in regards to signing-off on the chest Xray from the hospital stay done within that recent week, stating that she is free of communicable diseases. This would allow us to get her in a safe facility w/ appropriate care. Dr Williams refused to sign-off. Dr Williams did not conduct an exam, or order xray. He disagreed w/4 Dr's and said take her back to ER. ER staff found no medical reason to be in ER and signed off on Xray and now we have a bill insurance will not cover along with a mother who was unnecessarily stressed n treated in an ER in the middle of covid

I was seen in the ER for acute Covid Symptoms where the treating physician strongly urged me to see my Primary ASAP. Luckily, I had an appt already scheduled less-than a week out. So when I arrived and checked in, they took my vitals and asked me to be seated. Then, w/o provocation, the receptionist summoned back to the check-in desk when she informed me that "Dr. Williams will not be seeing you because you're + for Covid. That was patently false! I was cleared earlier in the day when I first saw my cardiologist. Since when do "doctors" decide they'll only see their patients only once they're better?!!! Behavior like this smacks of recklessness and falls just below the bar of GROSS NEGLIGENCE! What ever happened to the Hypocratic Oath?! It's obvious that Dr. Robert Williams does not believe, endorse, subscribe to, or practice this this ethic.

Impossible to get an appointment even after a critical hospital stay. My co- pays were always higher with him than any Dr. I have seen in the Aurora network. I would suggest he stay with Pediatric medicine and leave Primary Care. I highly recommend Dr. Jolanta Pentala for Primary Care.
