Dr Yancey and his staff are amazing. He was a bit concerned about operating on my son because of his age and my sons ability to follow the post op instructions, he was 10 years old when the 1st of two major surgeries took place. I searched desperately, saw multiple specialists, for many years before stumbling into Yancey's office. 10 years later my son is 6' 8" tall, almost 21 and has two perfect feet and legs. I have and will continue to refer anyone needing any specialized ortho surgery to Yancey, at the vary least for a consultation. He doesn't pull punches and is totally honest whether you want to hear it or not. Yancey is the absolute BEST!!!

There is no more amazing Orthopedic Surgeon then Dr. Yancey. He has performed my 2 knee replacements with absolutely no problems. Recovery was remarkable, his compassion, bed side manner and over all humanity is amazing. He has also performed my 2 carpal tunnel surgery’s with the same amazing results. I would have no one else perform a knee replacement then him! Thank you Dr. Yancey and staff especially Kathleen McDaniel PA for all you have done for me!

Dr. Yancey is an extremely talented and highly respected doctor and Orthopedic surgeeon! I have had several surgeries by him with remarkable, very successful outcomes. He takes time to listen to his patients, gather information and then explain various medical options for the best outcomes. His entire office staff, including a wonderful PA, go above and beyond to provide excellent service within a very friendly, efficent environment! I continue to highly recommend him to everyone!

I already wrote an excellent review. I felt I was in very good hands with Dr. Yancey and his team. I’m a retired nurse practitioner so I’m picky about medical care and I’d recommend Dr. Yancey to all my friends and family. Dr. Yancey is smart (he understands obscure diseases) his staff appears to work well together, he’s upbeat and understanding and I’m sure he’ll be seeing me for a few more joint repairs.

I had two hip replacements with Dr. Yancey one year apart. He has a great bedside manor. Very knowledgeable. Skilled surgeon. Every visit was successful. I went to another doctor and had a less favorable experience. His entire staff makes it worth while.

Dr. Yancey has performed two knee and two hip replacements for my husband in the last 2 years. His expertise in his field cannot be praised higher. He performed anterior surgeries on his hips which had him up walking with 3 hours. Cannot praise this doctor enough. Now I am facing shoulder surgery for muscle injuries and will look into Dr. Yancey to perform my surgery as well. I would feel much better knowing his qualifications and personal results... Hopefully it will not be a long to see

I have seen yancey for the majority of my life, I thought I was in good hands until talking to another orthopedic doctor. There was a lot of preventative care that was never suggested. His bed side manor is non-existent. He may be a great surgeon, but his compassion has always been lacking. I have been in pain and unable to complete everyday tasks for awhile now, begging for a replacement. I have finally found a doctor who is willing to give me the quality of life myself and my family deserve.

I had been having leg and back pain for many months.I told Dr Yancey my family Doctor had sent me to just check...could be my knee.. He checked my knee and told me it was my knee that was causing my problems. Within minutes he gave me a Cortisone injection in my knee and I instantly became pain-free. That was two weeks ago I am still pain-free and hope to continue to be! Dr. Yancey you were very honest with me...professional explaining everything clearly to me! Thanks so very much!!

My hip was wrecked and my right leg was nearly 2" shorter than the left by the time I met Dr. Yancey. He was kind, calm, straight forward and confident. Today my legs are even again and I walk with neither limp nor pain. I will need the other hip done and will ONLY go to Dr. Yancey.

I have heard great reports of Dr. Yancey's surgical ability. But when I attempted to set up an appointment to meet with Dr. Yancey about an L & I injury I was told he and his office manager had declined to take my case. The receptionist declined to give a reason- just said she was told to contact me to tell me that they would not be taking the case. This was very puzzling since the case should have been very straight forward.

Dr. Yancy performed a Higland procedure any reattachment of the Achilles tendon to my left heel. Surgery went extremely smoothly, his staff is outstanding, and wouldn't hesitate to have him perform another surgery if required.
