Dr. Roberto Cervera, MD

When my husband was at Hays med, Dr. Cervera took such fabulous care of him, but also took care of our family. Unfortunately, my husband situation was grim and he did not make it, but Dr. Cervera was amazing! He explained every procedure as they were getting ready to do them and at the end when the nurses were working so hard to keep things going, he was right in the trenches with them, working alongside them. He stood there with us as we waited for those last long minutes to pass, and he let me cry in his arms after it was all over. I have never met such a kind and caring and talented experienced surgeon. He did everything he possibly could, and he even had tears in his eyes when my husband left us.

Dr Cervera was our pleasant surprise of a surgeon when my mother was brought into ER. He performed an impossible surgery. Our entire family was grateful for his care and bedside manner. Very ,very personable and we were all extremely happy with him. My family is very grateful to this man and would give him more stars if available.

Dr.Cervera saved my husband's life on surgeries that were critical that other Drs. turned down.Thank you and God Bless you Dr. Cerverra, your Hands never stopped. You told my husband that he had many lives, you were right only because of you. He is now 80 years old with Quality of life. We are Blessed to have you, one of the finest Surgeons,who loves and cares about his patients, you will forever be in our Hearts. Thank you.

He done my open heart in April 2023 and my family said he set by my side for 36 hours

If I could leave a review with zero stars I would. Dr. Cervera, supposedly a specialist in his field, performed surgery on me 1 1/2 yrs ago. I walked into surgery and I haven't been able to walk without assistance since. Dr. Cervera damaged the spinal cord at the T6 Vertebra affecting the right side of my body from the armpit down & everything below the waist. I used to have an active lifestyle and a productive career, now I am permanently disabled and in constant severe pain. I spend my days wheeling around in an electric scooter. Dr. Cervera never did a follow up with me, not even while I was recovering in the hospital and had complained that I could not move my legs. DO NOT let this man perform surgery. I have discovered there are other patients with similar outcomes - BEWARE !!!

Takes time with you, explaining everything about procedure. Very pleasant, and easy to talk to. He is the best! Couldn't have found a better Doctor!

Dr. Cervera performed my triple bypass surgery a year ago. The outcome was excellant and has changed my life. I lead a very active life with no deficets.

Dr. Cervera has not been my doctor but he did save my life. My Cardiologist for about 7-8yrs here in Lake Havasu City, AZ, told me to call hospice and go to a nursing home a couple of years ago because he could do no more for me, I'd be in E.R. too many times, and he would have never done the procedures my Phoenix Cardiologists have done (otherwise: lay down and die). Prior to that Dr. Cervera felt that I needed open heart surgery but knew it was too dangerous to do it at HRMC. He contacted a cardiologist in Phoenix and had me air lifted to him in a Phoenix hospital. Since then, I have had cardiac procedures performed there and those doctors have explained how I can improve my heart condition. I am here to tell you, "Thank God" for Dr. Cervera! He cares about people and saving their lives no matter their "elderly" age. Thank you Dr. Roberto Cervera!

Dr. Cervera performed a valve replacement surgery for me in Jan., 2018. there were complications during surgery and he handled it expertly! I feel as if we were both in the right place at the right time. Not only is he an excellent surgeon, he has very professional staff & a great skill for interacting with his patients & their families. Highly recommend him!

Dr. Cervera performed a double coronary artery bypass graft (cabg) procedure to restore blood flow around my "Widow Maker" artery near the end of March 2017. I have survived past a two-year anniversary of that operation, thanks to Dr. Cevera's excellent work. Thank you for extending my life! No one can predict the future, but at least for now I still have one to look forward to, thanks to your skill and determination to save my life! Wonderful skills and caring bedside manner.

One of the greatest bedside manners I have ever seen from a surgeon. Start to finish excellent experience considering the circumstances.

I have never met a doctor who cared more than Dr Cervara. I'm very sorry that he has left Yuma. I could write books about how he is the best of the best. I would travel cross country to entrust my care to him.
