Dr. Roberto Gines, MD

I was admitted to the ER at Boca Regional Hospital. Everyone from the ambulance crew to the nurses and finally Dr Gines were kind, compassionate and thorough. I received amazing care , a huge battery of tests and left (fortunately) hours later with an understanding of my condition and how to treat it going forward. I feel very lucky to have been under the care of Dr Gines.

Dr Gines treated me in the ED at BRRH in early October 2023. He was pleasant but I’m concerned about his protocol as I experienced it. I did not actually see him until after all blood work, CT scan and X-rays were done. He never entered the room to ask me even one question of “lay on his hands” in my body. This was strange. And his diagnosis based on an initial read of those scans was incorrect and I was not contacted to be advised. That may be a hospital procedural fault but I have to attribute it, in part, his failure to proceed as he stated he would!

Dr. Hines was my ER doctor. I live in NY and was visiting Florida. I could not have felt that I was in better hands. Excellent doctor

I’m a female RN who went to the ED WHERE I WORK due to an emergent situation. I was told by my orthopedist to go immediately for testing. Not only was Dr Gines unkind, had no compassion & his initial response was “why are you here, why did you come, why didn’t your doctor call us if it was such an emergency”, he treated me like I was drug seeking & that I was lying. Never see this doctor unless you’re ok with having your dignity stripped from you and that you’re a giant waste of his time.

I was forced to endure an exam, which was a very basic one, I was told not being responsible for any fees, paid more than $1000, and after all of that this doctor still comes after me. He should not have a license to practice.
