2025Doctor Hontas, in my eyes is a Very Skillful and Caring Surgeon. In late 2024, Doctor Hontas did Knee Replacement Surgery on both my knees with 100 Success and Satisfaction with both Surgeries. Dr. Hontas was very nice and caring doctor.I broke 4 metatarsals and dislocated my lisfranc joint on my right foot back in 2022 .He wa Simon call call the night I went to hospital and did ORIF the next day. Every time I had appointments post up, he explained my miraculous healing and performed X-rays.He is very knowledgeable and amazing doctor.I healed just fine after months, and appreciate his work he did on my foot.He sent me home health nurse and physical therapist and aid.I followed with 3 months of physical therapy and was able to walk without a boot after 3 months post up.If you break a bone or have joint problems , I recinebs him to be your doctor!! And he always dressed so professionally.!!!!! If you need an orthopedic surgeon, I recommend him.I shattered my fibula and broke my tibia in 11/2023. I was sad that he wasn’t on call that weekend I went into the hospital on the 18th and had surgery on the 19th with another doctor but I got to see him when he made rounds on the weekend and I seen his brother the following weekend when he made rounds!!!!! I so wished dr.Hontas was on call that weekend of this year because of would’ve had him again. But even though he didn’t do my surgery this time, I am following up with him postop. I do not like the doctor that I currently have so I’m switching to him if he needs to do x-rays, he can do x-rays and

First, Dr Roch Hontas is NOT Board Certified. Second, I went in for what he insisted was a “routine” surgery to remove a heel spur and release the plantar fascia. I was never the same after that surgery. He damaged the nerve that feeds the bottom of my right foot. He refused to see me in the office for continued followup even thought I was in horrible pain. Within 4 months he was referring me to a pain management doctor. I was changed forever after that surgery. I have lived with this pain for 26 years. Run don’t walk to another doctor!

Dr Hontas did my total knee replacement. He and all his staff are excellent ! I’ve recovered beautifully with zero complications.

Husband on 3rd hip replacement but first for that side. He could tell something wasn’t right from right after surgery and the first time he walked. Three months later he felt a pop in the front of the thigh and hurt worse for several days. It took several appointments to convey to this Dr. there definitely was a problem. He did a bone scan then referred us to another Dr saying the stem had turned loose and this surgeon did that type of repair surgery. We just had the surgery this last Monday and his quadricep muscles had turned loose and the hip ball and socket were not situated correctly so that had to be replaced. Already my husband is not in as much pain, but has a very restricted movement with his hip and is ordered to do next to nothing for the next 6 weeks. We do not appreciate that Dr. Hontas made it sound like my husband had done something when he had not and then didn’t tell us the truth about the hip replacement failure. If only I could rate him a zero!!!!!!!!!

Dr Honda’s is a very caring and thoughtful doctor. His compassion and empathy for my physical and emotional health was evident during my visit with him. I Highly recommend him to anyone in need of an orthopedic surgeon.

Dr. Roch has treated my mom for years. She had her knee replaced, had some difficulties after surgery, but was able to overcome them with Dr. Hontas’ encouragement and excellent care. Several of my family members are patients of Dr. Roch. His entire team is amazing; his nurse Dana is wonderful and office staff is excellent.

Someone literally took the words right out of my mouth. I’m going to keep it short. STPH referred us to Him from a injury which resulted in the ER. From the moment the appt was made to checking in the staff was beyond rude. We waited over an hr, also mind you we waited a WEEK of being injured to be seen! Dr was rude, condescending, did not give a treatment plan. Did not care my husband was in pain and literally walked out of the room to another pt. He did not even give an exam.

Very unprofessional, Rude and abrupt, not punctual, condescending attitude, did not do physical exam, rushed diagnosis and no treatment plan offered. And he is NOT and has never been board certified ! Does not respect his profession.

Dr. Roch has treated me for several orthopedic issues; broken feet, broken arm broken wrist, broken knee and torn rotator cuff. Each time I have seen him his manor has put me at ease so that I was more able to relax and accept not only my diagnosis but also what procedures had to be done. I have quickly referred him to several friends and family members already, knowing they would receive excellent care.

I must follow up on a review ive done a few months ago....... i had an experience with his office that made me feel a certain way about his team that wasnt pleasant, so i wrote an unpleasant review. However i have been proven wrong on so many levels!!!!! Ive come to learn and realise that dr hontas is a great dr that deserves all the admiration and respect i could possibly give. I have never been so wrong. If u need a ortho surgeon and a good team....... You just found it.

I've had some complications with a broken foot and was getting frustrated. I recently switched to Dr. Hontas. I called and pushed up my appt. so I could get some clarification as to what is going on with my foot and what is the plan going forward. Dr. Hontas understood my feelings and concerns and took his time to thoroughly explain everything to me and my husband. Unlike the doctor I was seeing, he really cares and is patient.
