Dr. Roderick Kim, MD

Dr Kim is exceptional in his quality of care. No Doctor listens better. It's common to wait a while to see him after arrival and check-in. Especially late in the day. This is because once he is with you in the room, you have his full attention, for as long as needed! He thoroughly reviews your information for every appointment. If you're a new patient as I was 6 years ago, he will thoroughly review your health history. My history is very complicated and it's a huge file. He reviewed it all and knows me better than the internist I saw for the previous 30 years! He's up to date. At every appointment he asks more than once if you have any questions, do you understand everything? He may appear distracted, he's not. He reviews your information on his laptop, takes the most thorough notes, checks options, while he listens closely and asks questions. He is completely engaged in your care. His extraordinary level of care is not obvious at first. Over time, you will see he is the best.

Over the past 5 years of being a patient here, Dr. Kim, the physician assistants, and support staff have been fantastic and a reliable, crucial resource for my health and personal needs. I have easy access to care and records via MyChart or a good, old fashioned phone call.Putting patients first is a habit of all their staff. Highly recommend checking their office out if you need primary care!

Dr. Kim is exceptionally thorough and always takes the time to research questions. He also fully explains all test results and medical options. I recommend him whole-heartedly.

No would not recommend this dr. First appointment was 2 hours long and all but 15 min was behind the computer screen. Documentation might be great but far too detailed and not enough quality time engaging with patient. When I had a drug phone into pharmacy, I was given two prescriptions not only one as he told me. It took a week of several phone calls for them to return my call to say it was a mistake. What if I had taken the medicine at the pharmacy?

Extremely attentive to my concerns. Excellent educator and partner in my medical care laying out appropriate options. I have recommended my wife (an internist/MD) see him as well.
