I find that Dr. Sturgeon treats me as an equal partner in managing my health. He makes clear recommendations to me, but supports my making my own informed decisions. He also diagnosed and successfully treated my child after 2 different pediatricians over 3 years could not help us. I always will be grateful for his expertise and help with that. I have recommended him to several friends.

We could not be happier to have Dr. Sturgeon as our family physician. He is kind, friendly, knowledgeable, and explains information clearly. I am puzzled by some of the negative comments. He is personable and informal (but thorough). Perhaps these reviewers want a more formal doctor-patient relationship. We like his warm, easy manner. The practice has excellent staff, extended hours, and many tests (such as x-rays, labs) can be handled right there on the premises.

Dr. Sturgeon is a completely hands off doctor. I have seen him for four years and he never once checked my abdomen or any thing else except listen to my heart through my clothes. He doesn't shake hands but will do a hand bump. His Nurse Practioners are far superior to him. I have seen him sitting in his office with his feet propped up while his patients aren't being cared for. I would not recommend him to anyone and I am going to find a new doctor. I couldn't do worse.
