Tough decision to change my PCP after 26 yrs, but refuse to drive to San Antonio anymore. Found Dr. Canizales by pure luck! I've been very pleased with his care & understanding my concerns. My husband also sees him. He's truly concerned about his patients. I found it very easy to discuss sensitive matters with him. I've enjoyed the patient portal because I don't have to bother office staff for easy questions. (prescriptions, rescheduling appts, etc.). His appointments are on time. (My previous PCP would always be anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour late for every appointment!) I would highly recommend Dr. Canizales to anyone looking for a PCP in the New Braunfels to San Marcos area.

On our second visit to Dr. Rodolfo's clinic, my mother and I were waiting for what felt like 25-30 minutes for an 1:20pm appointment. When I finally decided to inquire about the wait, I opened the door and spotted the doctor and a female nurse in a very questionable manner in the room across from us. They were playing around while my mother and I were waiting. The meeting only got worse as Dr. Rodolfo was using scare tactics to persuade my mother back into diaylsis, a procedure that she vehemently turned down. Needless to say, we parted angrily from the clinic and my parents do not wish to return.

Dr. Canizales-Collazo MD ask you if there is anything else needed or questions about visit. I highly recommend him as a family MD.

Knowledgable, caring, goes the extra mile. Dr. Canazales has all the qualities you want in your family doctor. I feel very fortunate to have him.

Dr. Canizales is a good doctor. However, you are forced to deal with his office staff. I have been a patient for 4 years, but I will be leaving. I hate to lose a good doctor, but his staff could not be more unprofessional and rude. They filled a claim incorrectly, and my insurance representative had to help/guide them on how to do it correctly. BCBS should not have to help the billing department with claims. This is scary. Find a different office. Not this one.

I been a patient of Dr. Canizales since mid 2020. He is nice with excellent bedside manner. He discusses your health and treatment plan with you. He listens to you before he gives you the medical facts and diagnoses. You leave there knowing he has your health best interest.

Dr. Canizales is amazing, I was having such back pain and after seeing 2 other Drs about this he's the first one to help. I was skeptical to go to him since he is younger and the other drs who have been in practice for 20plus years. Yet I'm so glad i went with him, the 3rd time really was a charm. Thank you so much

The staff was very pleasant has I enter the facility.. they really paid attention to whatever I had to say .. Doctor pay attention to my problems I have examined me well.. Everyone was great
