Dr. Rodovaldo Rodriguez Jr, MD

I had umbilical hernia surgery. Dr Rod is a nice man but months after the surgery I began having pain in abdomen. I went to the ER and they were unsure of problem. I called dr rod office and the gatekeeper will not let me see him, referred me back to my primary care. I am waiting on a gastric appointment as I guess they are only option. I can’t believe a dr has a bunch of secretary’s and nurses diagnose me over the phone. I have pain and a huge amount of gas and nausea. I have had no surgeries in my abdomen except by dr rod. But they will not see me. I do not understand the lack of follow up care.. mesh surgeries are one of the most troublesome and yet they won’t see me. I have called multiple times, always referring me to other doctors that I have never seen.I like Dr Rod very much but his gatekeepers have waaay too much power. Stay away!!!

I have had several appointments with doctor rod. He is always so helpful and on the ball about getting things done. Has helped when other doctors have not. He truly listens and cares about what is going on with his patients.

He is always so thorough. Great bedside manner. I have been a patient for years. He has run tests to find things other doctors would not! The man saved my life! He truly cares about his patients!

Dr. Rod was very attentive and answered all my questions. Also talked me through the process.

My mother had an appointment with Dr.Rodriguez this February. Not only was the appointment rushed, but I also felt that Dr.Rodriguez did not properly assess her condition. It felt as though surgery was my mother's only option. However, I learned from another surgeon she could have been offered medications to help with her problem instead. His bedside manner was poor, and I along with my mother did not feel respected in the interaction. I would strongly advise seeing another surgeon.

I've had multiple visits with Dr. Rodriguez , all where very fast and helpful. He has always been really professional and friendly. He is a great doctor and has made uncomfortable appointments more bearable then most. No one wants to go to the doctor , they all want the experience to be comfortable and in a friendly environment where you feel as though they care. Dr. Rodriguez cares and makes it a much more comfortable and less scary situation.

I was referred to Dr. Rodriguez by friends, they were very satisfied with his quality of care. Dr Rodriguez was compassionate, we were seen quickly, great bedside manner. He put my daughter at ease during her procedure. I highly recommend Dr. Rodriguez!
