Medical professions are hard to do…
Actual Dr was polite but had little grasp of why I was there because not reviewing the info just taken down which would have saved him time, and also suggests speed driven results vs accuracy are the driving concern here. Dr was too focused on very old MRI from 4 years back vs Xray handled in office the moment before. Assistant Fellow understood issue better and had adv to Xray done in office that same day, had to remind of reason for visit which suggests exhaustion/lack of sleep? There’s another review that says money driven mentality and they are not wrong. Assumptions were made, to continue the exercises that I have not been advised to do, which felt out of place.

Money Driven Mentality
Dr. Garcia performed trigger finger and torn elbow muscle surgery on my right hand/elbow in early 2016. To take this back a step... I used to see Dr. Schecker and he was an excellent doctor who retired right before my surgery on the right. Garcia was to be his predecessor. I was NOT pleased with Garcia's mannerisms in the office as he was only interested in fixing the current issue even though it was determined that I would have issues with all fingers. He did surgery on my index and middle finger. Here it is 2023 and I will need surgery again on the right but this time, it will be the entire hand. He couldn't tell what was wrong with my elbow by the X-rays and Arm MRI. After surgery, he advised that my muscles around my elbow had scar tissue so he cleaned to scar tissue off in hopes the elbow muscles would heal. I feel he could have done more preventive opening of the tendons for the rest of the hand that he didn't want to do. Surgery scars show. I don't recommend Garcia.

Amazing
Dr. Moreno is a terrific and amazing doctor. He is very caring, patient, and has a great bedside manner. He is very skilled and knowledgeable. This is the first time in at least 15 years that i have had injections for Dupuytren's Contracture with very little pain! It is also the first time my hand was numbed before manipulation! I highly recommend this doctor and his caring staff! They are all terrific! The best in my book!

A trusted physian
Dr. Moreno has successfully treated major problems with both my hands. He has done the same for my husband's hands and wrists. We both admire his professionalism, his extensive knowledge, and his expertise in surgery. He has a pleasant manner with his patients and listens attentively to their problems. He also clearly explains the individual issues you are dealing with; thus, you know why you do or do not need surgery.

Worse after surgery
On my very first visit, He didn't even touched my hand, He just said that I needed surgery, I asked if He wanted to see my records, said that it was not needed... I agreed to go for the surgery,... after surgery, He didn't care to visit me at the hospital to see how I feel or nothing, had the first visit to see him after 2 weeks, once again, He didn't check my hand or nothing, I complained of having a lot of pain, the only answer that I had, was that He wanted to see me again in 6 months ( ??? )... more than a year later, now I'm on more pain than before the surgery, and, He did open my on my elbow area w/o telling me about, now, I have a lot of pain on that area, every night, sometimes can't even touch the blanket w/o feeling pain, it was not like that before surgery... on my 6 Mo. visit, I told Him about it, said, it will go away, that was it!... today, more than 1 1/2 year ago from surgery, I'm on so much pain... Won't recommend this person at all, I'm searching for a Doc. to help.

Highly recommend Dr. Moreno Garcia!
My husband recently had hand surgery. He is a very high risk patient with a lot of health risks. He has had very bad experiences with surgeries in the past. Dr. Moreno Garcia was excellent! He made us feel at ease and was excellent at communicating every step with us.

Carpal Tunnel Surgery Experience
I came to see Dr. Moreno because my right hand was waking me up every night. It would fall asleep. It tingled. It burned. And I was dropping things. Dr. Moreno discussed my options with me from the beginning. At first, I chose steroid injections. They helped, but the burning/numbness would come back. So I chose surgery. Dr. Moreno talked to me about what he would do. Then Rhonda from his office spent time with me explaining how to prepare for the surgery, what to expect before the procedure, during, and after. She even gave me a book to read. The day of the procedure, I felt well prepared. Dr. Moreno and his staff were kind, considerate, and patient with me. I asked so many questions. But they answered my questions and gave me all the tools I needed to make my experience wonderful. It has been two weeks since my procedure. My hand does not fall asleep any more. I am not dropping things. It was a wonderful decision for me. I wish I did it sooner. Thank you Dr. Moreno

Dr Moreno-Garcia performed tendon transfer surgery due to a damaged radial nerve to my left hand. I was hesitant to have surgery, hoping the nerve would repair, but Dr Moreno-Garcia patiently explained the pros and cons. After waiting over a year, I agreed to surgery. After 1 month of therapy and daily exercises, I can now do much more with my left hand and optimistic that it will continue to improve. I highly recommend Dr Moreno-Garcia and thankful he was recommended to me by a health care provider.

I have had 2 surgeries by Dr. Moreno roughly 8 years apart. The first was an ulnar shortening. The second and most recent was an ulnar shortening, wrist, and elbow surgery. I absolutely love Dr Moreno. He takes the time to listen to my concerns and thoughts. Not only does and did he listen, he keeps fixing my broken parts when I come back worse than the first time. I would recommend Dr Moreno to my family and friends. He is a very gifted surgeon and is honest as well. Both hard to find in doctors. I am not sure I could have made it this far post surgery without Dr Moreno and his team. He is the only doctor I would and will let operate on me hands down. I am short of 5 months out from major surgery, but can already feel improvements in daily tasks like doing laundry, driving, cooking. He gave me life back. Thank you Dr Moreno for being a miracle worker!

My mom is 78 and fell. She broke her arm right above her elbow. Doctor Moreno and his staff took great care of her and got her fixed back good as new. Doctor Moreno is very good at his job and if any of my family or my friends need a surgeon I will highly recommend doctor Moreno and his staff. We have been to the New Albany location and downtown location and the staff was great at both. Thank you Doctor Moreno and staff for being so awesome with my mom.

I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Moreno. I had severe arthritis in both thumbs and was barely able to even write my name without excruciating pain. Being an avid artist, needle pointer, and calligrapher, I had to do something. Dr. Moreno operated on both thumbs 6 months apart and I am so thrilled to be able to do all of the things I enjoy most. I will have Carpel Tunnel surgery in the future (have beginning signs already) and will only trust Dr. Moreno with my hands ever again. Needless to say, my experience was positive and I highly recommend Dr. Moreno!
