No follow up!
I had a scheduled endoscopy in July because of severe chest pain from possible acid reflux. He then scheduled a manometry test for possible esophageal spasms. I was not given a follow up visit to discuss results and continued to have chest pain and even went to ER. When I called, I was given an appointment for October!!! Fortunately, my wellness care doctor saw me and prescribed meds for acid reflux. A week before my October appointment I received a call to inform me that my appointment had to be rescheduled......first open appointment was for February!!!! Needless, to say I declined the appointment and found a different gastroenterologist. This is the epitome of poor follow up care. I actually liked him when I met him but I think as long as he is with Cleveland Clinic this will always be a problem. Too many patients and not enough specialist. I would strongly encourage anyone to find a different gastro doctor in a different practice.I
