Dr. Roger Hicks, MD

I was able to make a same day appt to see Dr. Hicks when suffering from difficulty breathing, severe coughing and weakness. The staff were all extremely pleasant and quick to care for me thoroughly. Covid test (negative) and vitals quickly taken. Dr. Hicks sent me to nearby ER as it was late in the day so I could have immediate blood draw and x-rays, where it could be confirmed that I was suffering from community-acquired pneumonia. Due to everything being addressed quickly, I was able to get on the road to a quick recovery and am very grateful for Dr. Hicks' attention and care. Thank. you, Dignity Health, for having quality doctors available to us in our time of need.

I recently returned from a vacation in Italy having gotten sick while I was there. As soon as I got home, I went immediately to Yuba Docs as I was still pretty sick. Dr. Hicks set me up with a member of his staff to take the usual data. And when he was finished I was visited by Dr. Hicks. He was friendly and thorough as he determined that I needed to go to the hospital. I thought everything about Yuba Docs was high quality from the receptionist to Dr. Hicks himself. Highly recommended.

I went to Dr. Hicks about a bladder issue, I have MS and was concerned that I may be getting an infection, also during this time my father was dying and was very stressed out. He came in the room and started yelling at me, that I needed to stop feeling sorry for myself, about others with MS in much worse shape etc,. I was stunned, I hadn’t said I was feeling sorry for myself, I was exhausted from caring for my dying father, and was worried about an infection, I have never felt sorry for myself, and was so taken aback I was speechless. I wouldn’t recommend him at all, very unprofessional.
