Dr. Roger Kaldawy, MD

I got the new optic lens paid $10,000 out of my pocket six months later my eyes are still blurry close-up. I had to buy readers and that still doesn’t work. Beware I was told after the surgery by a second opinion some brains don’t recognize the new optic lens.

Dr. Roger Kaldawy of the Milford-Franklin Eye Center is the BEST surgeon. He explained in details my cataract surgery I was a bit nervous but assured me it will all be ok. I had no discomfort pain or marks the only great discomfort was my cheeks because I could not stop smiling all day long with the amazing results. Having perfect vision again is amazing no glasses needed. Anyone needing a great Opthalmologist he is your guy and his team. Thank you Dr. Kaldawy

I had a routine yearly eye exam earlier this month. After the preliminary vision test given by a surly optical technician, I waited over 1 hour to see the doctor. The doctor's exam was frantic - rushed doesn't do the pace of my visit justice. I voiced two concerns with my vision that he didn't even listen to. He was on a mission to get me into cataract surgery as soon as possible, he was talking forcefully, quickly hoping to intimidate me. After I brought up my two concerns again, he dismissively blamed them on the cataracts. I asked about getting a second opinion. I think that frightened him. He said I wouldn't find another ophthalmologist who could perform the surgery I so 'desperately' needed. He rudely dismissed me from the exam room and was sitting at the desk sulking when I left. Today was my last visit. If you decide to go to him check his credentials and certification.

Well appointed office . Doc is not rude . He provides standard of care.Wait times while in the office are unacceptably too long and well outside of clinical practice norms. BTW these wait times are not due to the doc spending an extraordinary amount of time with the patient.

Dr. Roger Kaldawy of the Milford-Franklin Eye Center is excellent. I was very apprehensive about my two cataract surgeries but, thanks to the expertise of this wonderful doctor, all went well. The Doctor patiently explained the procedures to me and give good instructions about after-surgery care. Prior to choosing Dr. Kaldawy, I had numerous recommendations from other patients of his, who praised him highly. The staff is also professional, helpful, and courteous. Sometimes, there was a wait to have all of the eye procedures performed before the actual surgeries, and then to see the Doctor, but most times, there was maybe a 5-10 minute wait. If he had an emergency come up, being the caring doctor he is, he would attend to it immediately. My surgeries were successful and I can now see quite clearly, with no grey haze in my vision, and can read my computer screen with no problem, which is what I wanted. In addition, my night-time driving has improved greatly.

I was diagnosed with myopia when I was 9 years old and needed to begin wearing glasses. Unfortunately, over the years it became very severe and the drs began to joke about what happens when there were no more prescriptions to correct my vision issues. The military did discover a high-density plastic, but unfortunately my glasses were still quite thick. I couldn't see anything without them. Contact lenses didn't work for me.About 10 years ago, I was diagnosed with cataracts. Because of my unusual eye conditions, Dr. K. was able to tweak the lenses to meet my unique needs. What a blessing and a miracle! I have 20 20 today, WITHOUT GLASSES! Not only that, but I can see to do fine handwork, and at my age that is phenomenal!Dr. Kaldawy has become a Dear Friend and has been very kind and compassionate to me. Not just through my eye treatment, but with insurance problems, and the loss of a job. I highly recommend him. Not only is he a gifted surgeon, but he is also a very kind man.

I have been going to Dr. Kaldawy at both his Milford & Franklin offices for over 10 years. He is exceptionally knowledgeable about not just vision, but the health of your eyes. He has worked with me over this time to improve my overall health in order to keep my eyes as healthy as possible. He did cataract surgery on both eyes a couple of years ago that brought back clarity to my vision that was all but gone. His staff are all excellent from the front desk to the technicians, billing and scheduling, but I want to shout out to the 2 people I saw at my most recent appointment, Al Maria who my technician - SUBERB! and Sarah who takes the eye scans - ALWAYS pleasant, efficient and AWESOME! Thank you Dr. Kaldawy and all your staff for helping me SEE the beauty of each day!

I'm paranoid and avoid touching my eyes. I managed with readers until cataracts hit hard 6 months ago. Couldn't drive, read, use screens, or navigate menus. I panicked, but my son took me to Milford Franklin Eye Center. Dr. Kaldawy diagnosed cataracts and eased my fears. I had successful surgery. Staff, techs, nurses, and Dr. Kaldawy were supportive, never mocked my fears. Now, thanks to them, I see better than ever. I had cataract surgery by Doctor Kaldawy. I just want to thank him and his practice for the results of the surgery. I'm so glad and happy to have elected the laser surgery. I have no pain, no side effects and again enjoy driving safely at night. Doctor Kaldawy is kind, patient and answered all my questions. A real gentleman. Staff was very supportive. The staff there is very friendly. Dr. Kaldawy is a true professional. The post-operative drops instructions, along with appointment instructions were explained so well by the Surgical Coordinator Stephanie, made is really easy to follow.
