Dr. Oza - Terrific Service!
Dr. Oza cared about my problem and took the time to expkain the options. After the visit he never failed to be immediately available to handle any new issue my condition presented. It was obvious all along that he cared very much and sincerely wished to help me. He was careful and very clear in explaining why my condition could not be fully resolved by him and was quick to refer me to another Summit doctor for surgery. This decision proved to be the right one as I have had the surgery and am happy to say my condition has been completely resolved.

Professional
Dr Oza is a professional who prefers to heal without the use of habitual drugs. I have been going to him for many years. When I had a problem he could not help, he recommend another doctor. I trust him and highly recommend him. My husband also sees Dr. Oza.

Lack of Diligence - Would Not Recommend
I saw Dr. Oza for lower back pain. He performed a very brief physical exam. I informed him that I had completed an MRI and gave him a hard copy of the report as well as a disc containing the images. He looked at the written report for less than 10 seconds (apparently looking only at the three-sentence "impressions" section) and repeated the radiologist's diagnosis. He did not review the imaging. We agreed that an epidural injection would be the next logical step in my treatment. After the epidural procedure, Dr Oza indicated that he was unable to get the injection in the desired location because of bone growth and osteoarthritis that got in his way. He added "don't worry, we'll take a different approach the next time". Had he taken the time to look at the imaging, these problems could have easily been anticipated. I've since changed doctors and have been much more impressed with my new doctor's diligence and professionalism.

I went to this doctor and had a great experience. He helped care for me in a non surgical way and explained that I can get better with therapy. He was very helpful and I highly recommend him to all my friends.

Cervical herniated disc
I had mri with cervical herniated disc & went to this dr on primary Drs recommendation.Initially I saw most of his reviews were good.I was 5 mins into the appt.and wanted to walk out.He compared me to his parents who he said were overweight and sedentary and told me what he tells them.He said he didn’t know why I was in so much pain which made me doubt it myself and delay going to another dr. He also told me in his very words that he was CHICKEN to do any injections on me.He examined me for literally 2 mins. after he said all this.He was very unprofessional and I wondered why with good reviews he chose me to treat this way.I have a lot of respect towards Drs and although upset with this visit I was quiet and let him continue. He made me doubt my problem myself and I was afraid to go to another dr.I ended up going an hour away to dr I saw years before where I used to live.It was awful having a dr questioning my pain and writing my own review I saw good ones but this time also mine

Made an appointment to see Dr. Oza but never made it beyond speaking to the nurses. Brought into a room, asked 2 questions and had been dismissed. A question that could have, should have been asked over the phone and would have saved me from taking a day off from work. Dr Oza would not see me, he doesn't do medications. I never had an opportunity to discuss any type of treatments for pain and I don't nor had been on any opioids. I would recommend going elsewhere to receive help from a physician

Dr. Oza is remarkable. He performed a procedure for me at the beginning of November. I am no longer in pain and my life has significantly improved. Dr. Oza took the time to understand the pain I was experiencing. After careful analysis of all information, he selected a course of treatment and ensured all of my questions were answered. Many doctors do not take the time or have the understanding that Dr. Oza has.

Dr Oza is terrific! He listens well, has a caring demeaner and spends the time to explain things clearly. He quickly diagnosed my issue (piriformis syndrome) and then explained the path back to being pain free. He did not recommend unnecessary tests or offer unnecessary medication when the correct course of action appears to be physical therapy. I highly recommend him.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr. Oza to anyone with a pain management problem, especially if it required him to do a procedure such as an epidural on the spine.
