Absolutely rotten irresponsible health care! My wife went there for 8 years when her health started declining. She worked for the state and loved her job , they loved her. They wrote detailed IPs making accommodations. If she could have stayed 6 more years she have have gotten 3 times the retirement. But with her health she just couldn't. Inspite multiple accommodations . Then Dr Jones assistant wrote in her paperwork that she " can do another job" stopping my wife from getting the small retirement she is entitled to that she paid in ..this isn't disability its her money she paid in and can'tget because of you . Dr Jones doesn't have a clue what his non Doctors performing as Doctors are doing. When did you become vocational counselors! Your not even remotely competent Doctors! I know this because I tried going there Dr Jones lied to me too saying he would be totally involved in care . He is non existent there he lets his office workers and poorly trained nurses do all the medical work . Please do the community a favor and get out of medicine , your not practicing it anyway. You are liable for 6 months of loss retirement and counting . You are truly rotten people and this community deserves better!. CMS needs to do there job and audit this sesspool of horrible health care out of business! This review will be posted on every board I can find . Please all the others I'm seeing here having the same issue do the same. It's our duty to raise attention about this horrible office!

Uncaring staff and doctor
I started going to Dr. Jones about 10 years ago and initially was very impressed with my care. Over the last few years though Dr Jones no longer saw patients and only performed procedures - even when the procedure stopped working. Nurses are not skilled at diagnosing!!! That’s why the doctor went to years of training. One nurse diagnosed my neck pain standing in the door of the exam room and never performed any examination. The office is just a money grab. It’s sad what the office has become. Do not go there!!!

Excellent!!! Dr. Jones, Brett, and all staff were excellent, on time, and totally patient focused. My right knee had so much pain due to osteoarthritis that I could hardly get out of bed, take a shower, or walk, even while using my walker. Dr. Jones gave me a nerve block that reduced my pain in my knee from a 9.5 to a 2 or 3. Amazing. Thank you Dr. Jones and staff!!!

Staff is rude and providers are neglectful. Offered me surgery for something that wasn’t wrong with me. Refused to do scans and forgot to call in Cymbalta and other meds often which is extremely dangerous for any patient. Staff rarely calls back and acts like an inconvenience when they do. Avoid this office and its providers unless you want to go through hell and back.

Worst doctor and office – Sep 20, 2021
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Jones?
Dr Jones is wondeful, I have been a patient since 2013, however office practices leave a lot to be desired. About every 6 months, a nerve block is needed, simple procedure, just the shot, no anesthesia. The office has me schedule an appointment to schedule the appointment for the block. When asked if it could be telehealth they claim they need to see me. Their office is an hour from my house. So I not only pay $40 for the appointment to schedule an appointment but miss at least two and a half hours of work. The office needs to catch up to current times to allow for telehealth or better yet, just allow us to schedule the block, without an appointment to schedule the appointment.

It has been over 15 years and I continue to be pain free since Dr. Jones treated me -- whilst I resided in Tallahassee, Florida. There were two treatments via epidermal, and that was that! I was at a point of being hardly able to stand or walk for more than two or three minutes without excruciating pain from my lower back straight down to my feet. Several of my 'regular' physicians were not able to offer continuous relief. In seeing this 'pain management' doctor I was then able to continue to be employed. Gratefully yours, Phyllis Gruber (Alexandria VA)

12/6/19 Unequivocally recommend. Have had 3 perfect procedures. Can walk normally for first time in years. Excellent knowledge, judgment, technique. Clinical staff and all front desk staff are courteous and compassionate. They are exceedingly careful about your history here ( increasingly rare) and follow-up. I really appreciate Dr. Jones' " can do " style. An ARNP, I often dread encounters with MDs. Not so with him: he is to the point, direct, has boundaries. He has basically restored my hope in a reasonable improvement ( though so far, phenomenal!) after YEARS of MDs who simply " mask" pain. If you are seeking wise, professional pain management by an MD, who has your best interests at heart, Dr. RolandJones is who you want. I admit; I am a tough patient myself; perhaps a perfectionist. With Dr Jones, I am relieved to relinquish control because I can see he is highly competent and skilled. What a great physical and mental relief. I am truly blessed to be his patient

I WOULD NEVER REFER ANYONE TO THIS PRACTICE! IT WAS A TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME OF 41/2 HOURS!! ALL THE WHILE THEM KNOWING THAT I HAVE A CLOSE FAMILY MEMBER IN CRITICAL CONDITION AND IN ICU THAT I DROVE IN JUST FOR THE APPOINTMENT!! I WAS VERY UPFRONT AND HONEST ABOUT THE MEDICINE THAT WAS VERY CAREFULLY PERSCRIBED BY VERY GOOD DRS AND I HAVE TAKEN FOR DECADES!! SHE STILL WASTED OVER 4 HOURS ALL THE WHILE KNOWING THAT SHE WASNT GOING TO CONTINUE WITH MY SUCCESSFUL MEDS FOR DECADES!! AT ONE POINT SHE WANTED TO STICK MY LEG WITH A UNSTERILE SAFETY PIN?!! WHAT KIND OF DR DOES THAT?!! IT WAS CREUL & GREEDY TO KEEP ME THERE THAT LONG KNOWING THAT I HAD TO GET BACK OVER 2 HOURS DRIVE TO THE ICU UNIT ASAP !!

My husband was seen by Dr. Jones and his PA Lisa yesterday. How BLESSED we are to have been refered to them! Not knowing what to expect, we went in with mixed thoughts and emotions. Finally after 13 years we have a diagnosis and are now on the road to the treatement that my husband so needs! We know that there is damage that cannot be repaired .... But ...have been told that there are treatments and medications that can help him have a much better quality of life. Thank you Lord for this medical team!

Forget seeing an actual MD...he has pawned his patients off on nurses! Forget receiving any help with long-term chronic pain, they don't listen. Or care. Your made to feel like a junkie... even though they haven't walked in your shoes. Avoid unless your game to be signed up for "procedures" might be the only time you see a physician!

I had a procedure at another neurology group at Tallahassee Memorial. That doctor bored a hole in each hip and inserted a metal tube. The procedure accomplished nothing. My pain was still at 8-9. My primary doctor recommended Dr. Jones. I have since had nerves burned by Jones and still recovering. My opinion of him and of his assistant, Lisa Moore, is outstanding. I thank you Dr Jones

He miss diagnosed me with several conditions I found out later I did not have. But not until his assistant prescribed medications that caused me to have tremors/focal seizures. Conditions I now live with for the rest of my life! My livelyhood has forever been changed for the worse thanks to this doctor. His office is very unorganized and thats due to the fact that he is hardly there. He spends a lot of time at the hospital recruiting new patient and not in office for even your 1st office visit.

He is very nice but the office organization is the worst I have ever experienced. They are lost!! Sometimes it may be a management problem. Whatever the problem is, it's inexcusable. Tests aren't ordered. Follow ups aren't made. For heaven's sake! These are sick people. Do your job!!

I saw Dr. Jones and his nurse practition nurse Lisa for my chronic headaches and occipital nerve pain that started after my car accident. They spent more time with me than my previous neurologist and explained my treatments and options more than anyone else did. I thought the office staff was friendly and the office was clean.

Dr. Jones has a horrible front staff. They can not handle basic authorization and scheduling issues. They are nice, but in an airhead kind of way. They are not experienced enough to be dealing with chronic pain patients. They can be very rude when you ask basic questions and then your are seen as either overacting or an angry person. Bear in mind these patients are in chronic pain everyday and an office visit should not add to that pain. They may have gotten a new building, but worst attitudes.
