My most recent experience with this office was very disappointing. I've been a patient of Dr. Chumaceiro for about a decade. The one star is not for him per se, but since it is his office I guess the buck stops with him. I recently moved out of the state and needed my prescription transferred to my new insurance and refilled. I called and left several messages with the prescription answering service. No return calls. My insurance company reached out to the office. Nothing. The pharmacy reached out. Nothing. I finally got through to someone and told her I was trying to contact then for a refill, her reply was, “we never got the message.” This was 4 months ago! Still, nothing. Recently, I called to have my medical records transferred to my new physician, I was told that a release form was being emailed to me and I should get it by 12:30pm. This was two days ago. I feel totally dropped, neglected, disregarded, and not valued as a patient. Thank God I'm not on life sustaining medication.

He is an excellent practitioner and doctor of medicine. I've been under his care for more than 10 years and he has helped me with all my issues and conditions.

I went to see this doctor because he was recommended but I have to say all my experience were negative. I have changed since. He almost never makes eye contact and seems to have no compassion. I felt like he was overmedicating me, not a trustworthy physician.
