Amazing surgeon and superb clinician!
Dr. Charles is an amazing surgeon with a calm, welcoming and reassuring bedside manner. His naturally easygoing way of approaching even a very difficult diagnosis helped allay a lot of fears for a young patient and the family. He definitely knows what he is doing and was a very present and reachable resource for the entire process of a rather complex illness with a lengthy hospital stay, surgery and post surgery as well as follow up. He is highly recommended and we are extremely thankful for his prompt nd targeted intervention which has been extremely successful. Thanks Dr. Charles!!

Dr Charles and his staff were so kind and sweet. They made me feel comfortable and extremely well cared for while I was there and even told me that if I had any issues scheduling my MRI to give them a call so they could try and help in any way they could. Excellent office start to finish!

Dr. Ronald Charles has the absolute worst patient contact skills that I have ever encountered. He should really be retrained as to how to make a patient feel as comfortable as can possibly be expected during a rectal exam. He entered the exam room without even an attempt at a smile. He was accompanied by a young woman that was never introduced to me. When you enter an exam room, and are meeting a patient for the first time, introduce yourself with a smile. Introduce ANY and all others that are accompanying you as well. After all, every patient has the right to know who the other people are in the room, and why they are there, before telling a patient to drop their pants and bend over a table while some young woman who has NOT been introduced to me stands literally 4 feet behind me. Who is she? Why is she there? Is she just a student doctor there to observe for training purposes? This should be explained to a patient, & permission for this observer should be asked of the patient first.
