After months of working with my son and having him diagnosed with ADHD and also developing a 504 plan at school he was still struggling and we decided to have him evaluated in case an IEP was in order. He tested well and it was decided his ADHD had not affected his skill set, that he was smart and did not need a special education plan, this is when we decided that medication may be what was needed. Dr David refused medication on the basis that ADHD medication used in children results in hard drug (cocaine) use in teenage or adult years and that he does not prescribe medication. He instead suggested we refute the testing we had done and spend $1250 with his practice so that we could get the special Ed label for our son. This is the approach that is used for something as serious as a child’s education and ability to succeed in a classroom setting by a long practiced neurologist.. no medication for fear of lawsuits that your child will be a drug addict. Dr. David is the most caring and well-informed doctor I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I have two autistic children and without Dr. David, I don't believe they would be doing as well as they are. He genuinely cares about children and makes sure that all of my questions are answered. He directs me to others who are able to help my children as well. He is an absolute treasure to us!

A doctor who is more interested in your wallet than your child. Has a very condescending tone, very unprofessional and rude. Cuts off parents concerns.
