Saw Dr French visit 1 to take place of my former Dr covered under the former Walmart health insurance. Walmart's health care open enrollment took place while I was out on surgery leave. Dr French was shown previouse surgery medical folders and briefed on this being my 3rd surgery for torn right rotator cuff. The second visit, his assistant saw me and filled no restrictions and Dr French signed off on the return to work. I returned to Walmart and lifted 10lb flat of Strawberries and felt extreme pain in right shoulder and shifted to left which started to hurt now. I am now disabled due to Surgery would not be an option after retearing it a 4th time. Walmart insurance changed and I am able to see my Orthopedic surgeon again which workman's comp covered it anyway. BE AWHERE , when a substitute Dr takes over assesing your recovery from surgery by a former surgeon, you have to realize that not all Dr have common sense. I can work with permanent disabilities.

I was really afraid of what would happen with finger. But I was very quickly put at ease by the nurse who is a very genuine person, who is a natural at what she does. Dr French made me feel better knowing that he was confident in his work. I am happy!

Dr. French did a fantastic job repairing my hand, the first real success I experienced after multiple surgeries at other facilities with other physicians for the same problem.
Also hats off to the physical therapic at Oschner in Baton Rouge on Summa, Valerie Jordan ( a great therapist and cheerleader who inspired me to do better).

Dr French was friendly and knowledgeable; made me feel comfortable with his plane of care. Wish could spend a little more time with patients but I'm sure his schedule is full. All staff members were nice.
