Brilliant
Continue to me amazed at how he makes things happen in Naples. He seems to be able to call any specialist and get me seen. Every doctor I have seen has talked highly of him and several see him as their doctor.

Thoughtful, responsive, expert geriatrician!
I was particularly worried when my mother decided to move to Florida from NJ where she had an expert team of specialists to manage her medical conditions. She was a complex patient- a mentally sharp, extremely independent elderly woman with hypertension, cardiac dysfunction and chronic renal disease, who asked lots of questions! We were grateful for your thoughtful, expert care, for the time you spent thinking about her as a “whole person,” and for your rapid turnaround on questions from the rest of the family, scattered around the country. We were most impressed with the trusting relationship you built. Many times, advice we gave her was completely ignored, but when it came from you, she followed every word of your advice to the letter, quoting to us, “Dr. Garry says” ! Your expert day to day management kept her out of the hospital and able to enjoy her life to the fullest for 92 years. My family and I can’t thank you enough!!

Doctor’s doctor
I was visiting a specialist who asked “who was my primary care doctor”, I said Dr Garry. He smiled and said he is my doctor too. “All the docs in town see him”. I feel lucky to me part of his panel of patients. One of the last doctors who does home visits and still rounds in the hospital.

Rude, unprofessional, not there when most needed
Based on reviews from a few years ago, it's clear Dr. Garry was once a good doctor. Unfortunately, based on his treatment of my mother, I no longer feel that's the case. In spite of being Dr. Garry's patient for 15 years and paying him a significant yearly rate, Dr. Garry has offered sub-par care to my mother, particularly in the last few years. My niece reports that when she went to an appointment last year with my mom, Dr. Garry was curt, dismissive and insensitive regarding my mom's valid health concerns. My mom was not given the time she needed, and instead the appointment was kept short. Far more seriously though, Dr. Garry neglected my mother when she most needed him. Dr. Garry's Concierge package includes: hospital visits, 24/7 access, and no waiting according to his website. Yet, he didn't deliver when my mom had a horrible fall and was in the hospital. He did not check up on her by phone, did not visit, and did not follow up regarding her care. When asked why he had not pe

Dr. Garry treated my grandmother and late grandfather. He’s very expensive, rude, and seemed eager to push them into even more expensive care facilities rather than provide care himself—but was still happy to take their money. He acted like visits and expressions of concern or confusion were an inconvenience to him and showed a really upsetting lack of empathy for my grandmother’s well-being while hospitalized.

After 15 years as a patient of Dr. Garry, he rudely told me to find another doctor and hung up on me. I'm currently in a rehabilitative hospital. His lack of empathy and bedside manner was terrible. I do not recommend Dr. Garry.

If it wasn’t for Dr. Garry’s expertise, a growth on my mitral valve would not have been discovered until a routine echo cardiogram was insurance approved 6 months later. In the meantime, I could have had a life ending stroke. Since immediate surgery was recommended and performed at Mass. Gen’l Hosp. - I survived and am doing well. That was 2015. There have been other instances where his knowledge and quick action have prolonged my life and mobility. Dr. Garry is a great asset to our community...and to me.

Dr. Garry is an exceptional person and physician. His knowledge is vast. He takes the time to listen. If a problem exists that is beyond his comfort zone he finds the very best specialist for his patients. If you had ratings beyond 5 stars I would use them.

Both my husband and I have been seeing him for years. He recently diagnosed my husband with a perforated bowel and then a blood clot in an artery in his belly. From my reading, the blood clot is very rare and since he diagnosis was so early, he had a radiologist inject a clot buster and that took care of the clot. No question, he saved my husbands life.
