Dr. Ronald Grubb, DO

Dr. Grubb was my primary care physician for many years, he never had much to say, and if I had a minor health issue he would just shrug his shoulders. Now if I wanted a referral, or a prescription for something, no problem. Every year my annual blood work showed my liver enzymes were out of range high, not real high but all the same out of range high. Dr. Grubb always said, 'do not worry about it'. Then one year the B 100 vitamin supplement I take every morning went up in price, and I thought do I need 100 mg of the B vitamins?, so I tried the B 50 supplement from the same company. Two months later I had my annual blood work done, liver enzymes were within range, right in the middle! Turns out B 3 is toxic, and now it is recommended you only get 34 mg day. That was the only thing I changed. It would of been nice to have had a doctor who investigated why my liver enzymes were out of range high all those years. Fortunately the B 100 price went up, and I investigated B vitamins.

Dr. Grubb, and all his staff, are excellent! They are always friendly, understanding, and accommodating.Dr. Grubb is consistently kind, patient, and reassuring. I feel seen, understood, and safe in his care. Whenever I've had any issue I felt that he was genuinely concerned. He demonstrates compassion. I've never felt rushed in detailing symptoms, or concerns. He answers all of my questions.Also, there was never a time when I felt that unnecessary drugs, or procedures were being pushed, nor that tests, or any kind of treatments were withheld. I always feel that Dr. Grubb's priority, in treating me, is my best interest.Dr. Grubb has been my primary care doctor for at least 10 years. He was recommended to me from a friend/former student. In turn, after experience with him as my doctor, I've recommended Dr. Grubb to my friends and family. In ten years, these friends and family members also continue to choose Dr. Grubb as their doctor. I'm so glad to have a doctor I can trust!

I stumbled back from a ski trip, limping, coughing and beat up. Dr. Grubb confirmed that I had an inguinal hernia and referred me to a top surgeon. He confirmed that I had severe bronchitis and prescribed meds that brought me relief quickly. I am sure glad that he has my back!

My husband and I have been patients of Dr Grubb for 4 years. We are pleased with his caring approach. His staff are committed to following through if there is confusion on order labs or tests.

Dr. Grub was on call supposedly. My wife left 2 messages and never heard from the good Dr. One less patient today.

Had a bad cold or allergy. Was able to get in to see Dr Grubb he diagnosed my problem perfectly and was able to help me quickly. His skill level is very high as well as his personality who cares very much about making your wellness a top priority doctor with a great skill level. He is is very patient centric and cares about his patients.

When did it become acceptable to have to call your GP to find out your test results from WEEKS ago? And have the RECEPTIONIST call you back to give you these results. So unprofessional and disheartening. My fiancée went to Dr.Grubb for concerns about his health and didn't get any answers. Don't you usually set up a return visit to sit down and go over the results and ask questions and understand your health better? Needless to say we wlll both be finding a new doctor this upcoming year, as I myself have had the same experience months back.

If there was I zero I would have chosen that.

Could not be more disgusted by this “doctor”. Dr. Grubb brushed me off and literally shrugged his shoulders and said “I don’t know it could be a lot of things” when I shared my symptoms, he offered no diagnosis or recommendations and suggested maybe it would pass. Lazy.

My father saw Dr Grubb for medical clearance for a simple urological procedure. He has a known clotting disorder and history of many clot events. We requested a simple lovenox bridge which Dr Grubb opted NOT to order. The cascade of events from not taking a simple precaution has been devastating. From ischemic leg, arterial occlusion to perforated bladder it has been terrible. If you have any complicated history be wary!

Recently moved to area and I was referred to Dr. Grubb. Great practice and staff!

Dr is nice. Back office did not sent referral to insurance for 2weeks. Consequently appointment with specialist was cancelled because approval was not in. More weeks of pain due to negligence of staff. Chaotic back office. I am really upset now.

Dr Grubb is an exceptional physician. His knowledge and professionalism is outstanding. He goes above and beyond to help and treat his patients. I would highly recommend him to anyone. His office staff is very friendly and efficient.

Dr. Grubb is a the best. He makes his patients feel like they are family. If you have anxiety about going to a doctor's office, I highly recommend making an appointment with him. He will treat you with great respect and give you excellent care.

One of the most caring doctors I have ever had and hope he will be my doctor till I die. He is very professional, listens carefully and does not do unnecessary tests. I would recommend him if you are looking for a great doctor. In fact, I have recommended to some of my friends and co workers and they love him too!

I’ve been to many other doctors in Bradenton and I find Dr. Grubb to be one of the most knowledgeable, caring and compassionate doctors in the area. The office and his staff are so nice and they are top notch as well. I recommend him very highly! .

Dr. Grubb was very personable, approachable with my questions and concerns. The office staff are very friendly and helpful It's difficult when you move from across the country to trust a new doctor.I would highly recommend Dr. Grubb and will continue with him as my primary care physician.

Pretty much treated me like a number instead of a person. Must've had something to do, as he was more concerned with looking at his watch. I had a sinus infection, never took a culture, never looked in nose. Never again will I go there.
