Dr. Ronald Hudanich, DO

The organization of the team, processes and procedures was flawless. Dr. Hudanich DO is loved, admired and celebrated by many who have benefited from the compassion, skill and the successful outcomes of his surgeries. Pain left my body gradually over 4 days. Prior, I suffered with very, painful, bone on bone, right hip for years. I was afraid to have surgery, I didn't know who to see. My Village, neighbors & friends, advised me to see Dr. Hudanich. Best advice ever. Had surgery, minimal downtime, mobility improved daily. Don't wait any longer if you're in need of these services. Dr. Hudanich is also very compassionate, calm and kind....he cares.

Definitely not the practice I remember. Long time patient and Dr Hudanich has performed surgeries on me more than once. It seems he only does the high dollar joint replacements now, and where I used to occasionally see nurse practitioners for occasional injections and check ups, he has other doc's in the practice now that don't deliver anywhere near the care level I was accustomed to. 1. I have records and charts that go back longer than I care to admit, so if you don't know my drug allergies maybe you should revert to an intake form and read pertinent information there.2. Doc I saw was overly mechanical, didn't listen or care about where I was having pain.3. Usually injections (while hurting some) had pretty quick results. He injected my shoulder from the top, not front or rear, and after quite a few of these in my career I'm sure he missed the inside of the joint.4. Staff, all new faces lacked basic skills and the nurse (besides being a total witch), was lacsidasical.

After care was the best anyone could imagine. ( I've seen a lot ) It was a wonderful relief as a caregiver to have the doctor send his own nurse and therapy to our home. This made us feel very good which then allowed direct reports of their visits back to the surgeon.Well about 12 days later he had an unrelated medical emergency. As soon that my brother was back in the hospital, I notified the surgeon’s office to make them aware of the situation. The Doctor sent his team to the hospital to check his incision. He also included physical Therapy in his orders as well as nursing care. (Also Wound Care due to all of the germs in the Hospital ) One thing he told me. 'You may not always see me, but I am watching his recovery closely.“I know everything.' Indeed he did. We now are looking forward to visiting the Doctor in order to schedule to have bone on bone knee surgeries soon. If he runs a few minutes behind please be mindful that good doctors care for their patients & he does.

My brother Richard waited years before having a much needed hip replacement because we were caregivers for our parent's. Well, a few months ago his hip needed replaced and was scheduled for surgery. The complete surgery was an hour in length my brother had no pain and was walking the hospital hallway with ease and no discomfort. Having a choice of more than one location for office visits was very helpful for us so we could go to the closer location.Surgery and hospital stay was great.  I will say Dr. Hudanrich is well respected by the staff at Advent Hospital of Winter Park.  One health care worker calling him 'The Master of the Machine' another stated, “ He put in the time to learn and perfect the robotic machine” Seemed  like everyone knew his name and knew what he expected. It's not just how friendly he is, but the professionalism & knowledge this Dr. is bestowed with.. I had my first surgery with him back in 2013 & then 2014. I had both my hip and knee replacements done by Dr H, he is kind, professional, and gets the job done. My hip surgery was just performed recently and by the time I had my first checkup I was walking in unaided. After hearing so many scary stories from people I am happy to say he did such a great job that my hip feels like my own, no pain at all. I have and will continue to refer people here that want an extremely competent surgeon who keeps up with the latest technology on replacement procedures and will spend the time listening to your concerns and happy to answer all your questions

On 2022, I was scheduled at the Oviedo office; showed up & no one was there. Called the office, spoke to office mgr Jessica Davis who told me several other patients were scheduled wrong that day too. She got defensive & gave me a lame apology. I asked for the Dr to reach out to me & am still waiting. They put down on my file that I missed the appointment!They don't care about their patient's time enough to properly handle an issue like this!

Offered direct communication about the patient's condition and options to treat the issue at hand. Listened to patients questions and answered sufficiently.

Waits are typical based on my experience any and everywhere. His skills and results are excellent. Four surgeries(occupational hazard) and completely satisfied.

Dr. H worked with me through some pre surgical issues but ultimately was able to do a Mako Robotic Hip for me. I felt completely confident based on his interactions with me and his reputation and the outcome, one month post- is extremely positive. The benefits of this procedure were clear to me, and he delivered an excellent outcome so far. I had someone in the waiting room during my post-op appointment mention how far she came to see him...that said a lot. He's worth it.

I do my own research for healthcare providers. Everything I found for Dr. Hudanich was encouraging, but when good friends and even my own PCP had shared the success stories they’d had with his care, I didn’t hesitate dropping my existing orthopedic practice to go with him.He’s a character to be sure, but I praise this man’s expertise and his track record speaks for itself. Amazing, state of the art, knee replacement surgery! Muscle sparing, robotic assisted technique. I was back to doing barn chores in 3 weeks! As a retired operating room nurse, I sought out Dr. Hudanich! I am so glad I did. He also has an excellent bedside manner! I have already referred him to my friends!

I have been a patient of Dr. Hudanich for probably 12 years. He has removed a bone chip from my elbow and corrected some movement discomfort in my shoulder. Additionally, over ten years ago, Dr Hudanich did a full left knee replacement. It is still it fine shape. At least once a week I am on the golf course. About two weeks ago he replaced my left hip. In less than a week I was walking with no cane. I have already scheduled Dr. Hudanich to replace my right hip the first week of March. Dr. Hudanich uses state of the art robot assisted surgery techniques that nearly eliminates the possibility for error. Do a little research. You will find he is the leader in this field.

Dr. Hudanich was recommended tobe by a friend that had surgery for a hip. On my first surgical consult visit I knew that he was the Dr. for me. He explained procedure and answered questions completely. Surgery was Nov 1,2021 and my recovery is great. He recommended phy.therapy and my leg is great. Still some swelling but I am so happy that I had my knee replacement. I had been putting it off for almost 2 years. He tells you exactly what to expect and is straight forward.

Rave reviews from me! Robotic hip replacement is the only way to go. Fast recovery time, no stitches and no staples. It's only been 5 weeks for me and I'm ready to have my left hip done. He perform both knee replacement on my fiance some yrs ago & no problems. He performed surgery on 2 trigger finger I had, no problem. He maintains his professionalism but yet he is very attentive & caring about his patients. His office is filled with knowledgeable, friendly & very caring personnel.
