Finally found someone who really cares. Mental illness is hard enough to manage. Having a Medical Doctor with years of experience provides an added dimension of holistic care.

I am a returning patient after a few years and I can tell you Dr. Kirsner is the best psychiatrist I have seen. He is kind, caring, compassionate, I never felt judged. It is hard to find someone like that. I appreciated how thorough he was with me. The office is very nice, cozy, peaceful and relaxing. Anytime I have called and left a message, I get a timely call back or text. It makes all the difference when you can reach your Doctor or a staff member for urgent questions.

I wish I could give Dr. Kirsner and his staff more than 5 stars. I have been dealing with Depression off and on for about 25 years and since I started seeing Dr Kirsner about 15 years ago I have been doing much better and I am not miserable and struggling with life like I used to. I even had a long span of time where I was able to get off of all of my medication and lead a happy and very normal life. It was a wonderful time in my life. If you need someone who is very knowledgable in dealing with Depression and Anxiety and will provide you with the correct medicine you need to function and lead a normal life then Dr Kirsner is your man. I cant say enough good things about the man. He is the best Psychiatrist that I have been treated by and I highly recommend him.

This man made me feel uncomfortable the whole time I was sitting in the chair across from him. Genuinely, I felt uncomfortable and thought he may of been crazier than me. He wouldn't even see me due to my suicidal trauma history (only one incident a long time ago). Although, in my pre screening prior to the appointment, my history was given and my appointment was set. I was not aware of the no suicidal ideation policy, but got charged 350 dollars just to express my trauma and be rejected. It is just very upsetting to see 'doctors' use patients in need for their money.

Dr. Kirsner goes above and beyond. He takes the time to really listen and understand in order to determine best treatment options. He is very kind and considerate by also making sure that I am comfortable and in agreeance with his recommendations. He also suggested some natural supplements as well as a website to help with my busy schedule so I can fit some exercise in my day. He thinks outside the box in that way to ensure my overall well being. He is one who truly cares, I highly recommend him

Dr. Kirsner is very caring and compassionate. He listens well and spends a lot of time with me during sessions. He has been very helpful.

I was recommended to Dr. Kirsner through a generic counselor. I was hesitant at first but have now grown very comfortable in speaking with him. I would highly recommend him.

I wrote a genuine review a few days ago and coincidentally never got posted despite my reviews for other doctors did. Red flag right there. This guy is nice but doesn't seem knowledgable. He misdiagnosed me and when I went to another doctor, he literally laughed at my dosage prescribed by Kirsner because it was so low that it wouldn't do a thing. He brought out the DSM which is concerning considering he's already been to med school. On top of that, he's outrageously overpriced.

Having never been to a mental health professional before I was extremely nervous, but Dr. Kirsner was very kind and listened to everything. The atmosphere of everything from his staff to his office is very calming and nice.

Wonderful, caring, professional and skillful is how I would describe Dr. Kirsner. For my initial visit, he took time to try to understand me and my history--altogether more than two hours of patient listening. His assessments and recommendations are thoughtfully and carefully considered, and include some therapeutic recommendations with suggestions on where to find herbal supplements that are the most efficient at the lowest cost. He is encouraging. I recommend Dr. Kirsner without hesitation.

Dr. Kirsner was very thorough in history and symptoms, while maintaining a great humanity in his handling delicate and difficult subject matter. There was no discomfort in the discussion or any inquiry. It was clear that all information exchanged was for best discerning the issue with a focus on generating an array of approaches to treat. Dr. Kirsner involves the patient in the decision on how to approach treatment and what the expectations should be.

Dr. Kirsner is a fantastic psychiatrist. He, actually, listens to his patients and genuinely cares about their well-being. I highly recommend him!

Excellent practitioner! He is very receptive to understanding your needs, and perceptive in determining the proper approach. As a healthcare provider myself, I am aware of the difference between bad practitioners, good practitioners and great practitioners; Dr. Kirsner is in the latter group, the primary reasons being because he knows his craft and enjoys it!

I would recommend Dr. Kirsner because he is knowledgeable and shows genuine concern about my progress. He is not limited to conventional drugs and has directed me to alternative medications and therapies also. He makes me feel that I am taking part in making decisions about my treatment.
