Great doctor
Dr.VanderLaan was the Dr. I needed for my heart valve! He was professional and compassionate about me and my needs!! His staff was also very good about me as a person!!

Dr. Vanderlaan and staff - OUTSTANDING!
The staff are incredibly helpful - especially with some rather complicated follow-up. Dr. Vanderlaan listens and HEARS what you are saying. This practice is a stunning example of what every practice should be.

Helpful Heart Health Care
Dr. Vanderlaan, and his team are outstanding. Everyone I have had dealings with has shown caring, compassion, concern, and respect. I can not imagine going anywhere else.

Rude and lacking in compassion
Rather than taking the time to answer his patient’s questions about a drug he wanted to prescribe, Dr. Vanderlaan was rudely dismissive. If you are curious about the medications you take, and have any self-respect at all, go elsewhere.

Please do not use him!
Please find a different doctor! He made it very clear he didn’t have time or the desire to answer any questions. He told us to go to ER if we wanted answers and walked out of the room! My mom condition didn’t require an ER visit, it just required a doctor with the time to answer some questions about her health.

Doctor VanderLaan is the only doctor who instantly diagnosed my heart condition. After suffering for years he listened to me, listened to my heart and properly diagnosed me with White Wolf Parkinson’s. Performed the necessary operation and I have been symptoms free. I trust him with all my heart ??

I had two appointments and never met the doctor. Both appointments were late -- at the second appointment, I waited in the lobby for 25 minutes without an update or explanation from any staff members. I decided that the lack of common courtesy wasn't a fit for my medical needs.

Dr. Vanderlaan is very thorough and attentive to any questions/concerns I have. I never feel as if I am being rushed at my office visits and always feel like Dr. Vanderlaan is giving me the best cardiac care I could find. He explains all of his intentions regarding my care, treatment and diagnosis. His office staff is also top notch! Thank you, Dr. Vanderlaan!

A brillant, brillant physician, who always puts his patient first. Explains findings in terms I can understand and is willing to take the time I need for my questions and concerns. I could not imagine that I would ever seek another cardiologist for my needs. Dr. Vandelaan employs a friendly staff and are very helpful. A great place for cardiology needs.
