Splenosis Surgery
Dr. Vandermolen performed Splenosis surgery on me in 2003, 35 years after rupturing my spleen in 1968. He removed functioning spleen tissue throughout my abdomen very successfully. I thought I was dealing with kidney stones and the associated severe pain they cause. Thanks to him, this rare condition was removed and he is one of my life’s heroes. Funny thing is, season 14 episode 12 of Grey’s Anatomy contained this very condition, inspiring me to publish this review. Well done sir, I’ll never forget you!
