A total Pro !
I've had two cataract surgeries performed by Dr. Wise and they both were complete successes. The follow-ups have been thorough and not rushed. He has an excellent staff and state of the art equipment.

Great eye care.
Dr Wise has been my primary eye care doctor for 25 years. I cannot give enough high praise for the care he has provided for me after having gotten major eye damage in a auto accident in 1997. I not only consider him to be a great Dr but a friend with my best interest in mind.

Life Changing
I am a post stem cell transplant patient with a few chronic conditions that are a result of my treatment, including rapidly forming cataracts, which I believe are secondary to steroids and my chemo. My cataracts advanced significantly over 6-7 months. I had stopped driving at night and almost to the point of stopping during the day also. I'm also a veterinarian and typically perform surgery on a daily basis, but I had stopped doing surgery and was considering stopping practicing all together. Despite all my wife and I had been through the past 4 years, this was the one thing that was going to stop me in my tracks. Dr. Wise refused to accept this outcome for me. Dr. Wise was able to get the inflammation around my eyes under control and perform cataract surgery. I'm now 20/20 gang. I don't think I have seen this well since my 20's. Dr. Wise is a phenomenal man, doctor, and surgeon. He restored my career and quite honestly many areas of my life. Can't express how thankful I am to Dr. Wise

I came to Dr. Wise through my provider UCHealth and was completely satisfied with his very professional, caring and reassuring nature. The operation that he performed was pain-free and a remarkable success. I feel that I received the utmost medical care from Dr. Wise from initial meeting thru the post-op. I never had feelings of trepidation or uncertainty in regards to the treatment that I was given and would most heartily recommend his expertise and care. A wonderful doctor, and he seemed as happy with the outcome as I was.

Reference for Dr. Ronald E. Wise by L Adam of Wesm
My wife and I have been patients of Dr Wise for 15 years. Before my last appointment on 6/7/23, I realized the vision in my right eye had deteriorated. Dr Wise determined that I needed a partial corneal transplant, a correction for my astigmatism and an operation on my cataract. He explained what he would be doing the entire operation. Every question I asked was answered. On the pre operation appointment I was pleasantly surprised when Dr Wise said that as he had been planning the surgery, he had also conferred with a colleague. The operation went well and was totally pain free. Now after, one month the vision in my right eye is excellent. Dr Wise is surrounded by the Wise Group, a friendly, knowledgeable and efficient staff. Anyone looking for an excellent ophthalmologist, and surgeon, Dr Ronald E. Wise and the Wise Group are the best.

Hands on, Best Eye Doctor Ever!!
I am what they considered a special case. I had cataract issues along with a stigmatism and a congenital coloboma of the iris. I was referred to Dr. Wise because my eye doctor could not do my surgery. I was not able to see anything out of this eye. I was pretty much blind. After this surgery I am able to see again!! I can close my good eye and actually see out of my "bad"eye. He did a full reconstruction, and I was able to leave the same day of the surgery. 10/10 I will be recommending Dr. Wise to anyone and everyone! I can't thank you enough!

One of the best docs I've ever been treated by
I recently had a very complicated and rare condition involving epithelial cells growing under my cornea. I was referred to Dr. Wise by my regular ophthalmologist, himself a top notch doc. What a blessing this referral has turned out to be. From the beginning Dr. Wise was thorough, meticulous, beyond competent, all contributing to my comfort level before the delicate surgery that was performed just a few weeks ago. He carefully explained all my options, the procedure he suggested, and the potential outcomes. The surgery was 100% successful, the care and support team was amazing, and now in the healing process, with still a temporary stitch and contact lens in the affected eye, my vision is great, certainly better than I expected and good enough to not impact any aspect of my life. Dr. Wise is a perfectionist and while I don't know the competition, I'd venture to say he is one of the best ophthalmic surgeons in the country. Thank you, Dr. Wise and staff!

Excellent surgeon
Dr. Wise did an amazing job with my cataract surgery. I am blind in my right eye from a work related accident. Which Dr. Wise also worked on. So when I was losing sight in my left eye he was quick to schedule me for surgery and the result is phenomenal. I can see better now than I ever could before. Can't say enough, he is awesome.

Dr. Wise completed cataract surgery on my one working eye in May, 2021. Failure would have resulted in blindness for me. The results were excellent and 6-month follow-ups were all good. I now have better vision than in the previous 70 years of life.

Flawless Cataract Experience
Dr. Wise is infinitely skilled and very professional. My first cataract surgery was handled beautifully. The staff, both at his office and in the hospital, are efficient and caring. When I had a question prior to surgery, Dr. Wise returned my call and and gave me a thoughtful response. This kind of communication is very important to me. The surgery was painless and the outcome was beautiful! I can see! I am looking forward to my second cataract surgery!

Dr Wise is the most experienced, confident, knowledgeable and caring optical surgeon I’ve had the joy of meeting. My case was HIGHLY complicated and I was legally blind at 36 years old. Blind in one eye, My past docs were oblivious. Dr. Wise’s staff and colleagues were super welcoming. Dr Wise was really friendly and confident he could help. Sometimes you get lucky and get that expert-genius that knows what they’re doing and really goes above and beyond for their patients. Like I said, dedicated and a miracle worker. This is written almost 2 weeks after the complicated surgery and I see better than I can remember in a very long time. My whole life other docs told me I’d go blind with time, now I’m reading/writing books again! I can’t thank Dr. Wise enough for his time, professionalism, and delivering a promise that has immensely improved my life. (20/50) :) See you later Doc! Chin up.
