Spinal Lumbar Injury
I had one decent appointment with Dr. Lee, but unfortunately, the rest of my experience was extremely disappointing. She consistently interrupted me, refused to answer questions directly, and made me feel rushed and dismissed. Despite having imaging and clear evidence that my current injury was new or an aggravation of an old one, she claimed it was simply a “flare-up” of a past injury and told me she would be discharging me because she didn’t feel responsible for it.When I asked why she was acting more like an investigator or insurance rep than a medical professional, she told me that was her job. I used the example: “If I broke my arm at 3 years old, and then broke it again later at work, would you call that a flare-up too?” And her answer implied yes.The way I was spoken to — including raised voice and an almost confrontational tone — made me feel ashamed to be part of the Kaiser system. As a patient in pain, I expected compassion and medical care, not judgment or dismissal. Sad

Very condescending. Doesn’t listen to patient’s concerns. Doesn’t welcome questions. Poor interpersonal skills.

It started OK, then at one appointments Dr Lee told me she’s going to release me, without listening to what I have to say. She told me to ignore the pain, forget about it and don’t think about it. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go to Dr Lee.

I was sent to Dr Lee for pain management because of a broken back. I also had severe pain in my lower back, around my right leg down the inside of the leg to my knee. At time there is shooting pains in the right testicle. I can not walk without a walker for much more than 10ft. I am unable to sit and can only lay on my right side. Everything going below the waste was ignored by Dr Lee. After the insistence of my wife and a can of Nat an, an MRI of the pelvis and hip was done. Those tests discovered my labrum is torn in 2 places. My hamstring tendon is also torn. I originally spent 4 days in the hospital and was given pain relief for 4 days after that. That was now 1 month without pain reliefDr Lee was informed I needed pain relief 4 a 2 hr drive and 1 1/2 hr mri. Dr Lee presided Xanax and a can of bar an. Needless to say the pain was almost unbearable. The techs could believe a dr would do that. She needs her lic pulled. She is a danger to the people she sees...
