Dr. Banerjee is a very smart, lovely person and quite a talented doctor. Even though he is leaky sometimes, he has unconditional love for his patients and the warmest of hearts. I’ll remember him with a smile. He is so lovely that he shared donuts with me on his birthday and thanked me warmly for coming to see him. I was fond of him & impressed with him as a doctor & I hope he continues to thrive.

Dr banerjee hits on patients, sneaks around with them, and if you’re not willing to sleep around with him or gently massage his egotistical napoleon complex like a desperate groupie fangirl, you won’t receive good care. Wear something bright red and low cut and then maybe you’ll get your problems fixed.

I’m sure he means well and he pretends to care but I found him immature, inexperienced and an insipid Pollyanna of a doctor. From the time my I first started seeing Dr. Banerjee to our last in-person appointment, I shot up 35-40lbs to 150lbs on the medication he prescribed me and he was totally unbothered. Even after switching, the weight won’t come off. These careless and dismissive doctors will prescribe meds that wreck your metabolism and not pay any attention to you. It was over for me when my skin started peeling.

When I first met Dr banerjee he seemed nice but he made me uncomfortable. He made my several comments about my appearance, including how much younger than my age I looked. He even read me a poem. After that over the course of a few months, he started calling me late in the evenings and on Sundays. In one of our appointments, he tried to kiss me. I’m ashamed that we started a romantic and sexual relationship, even though I knew it was wrong at the time. I feel like he took advantage of my depression to get his needs met. He told me he was lonely, too, and I truly believed he had feelings for me when he told me I was his soulmate. His fiancée has been harassing me on my private number since September.

I see him for ECT (treatment resistant depression) he’s great. I never feel judge or like “the crazy one” when I’m being treated by him of anyone at the unit. I can’t thank the universe enough for outing these people on my path. I was a few days from doing something radical and now here I am starting school, moving in with my life and living a life that while it has its ups and downs, I am able to manage just like any other person. Anyways, Dr. Banerjee is great! Funny and talkative which makes ECT less of an awkward situation for me. 5/5!

Dr. Banerjee is one of the psychiatrists I see at Mount Sinai for ECT (to treat treatment-resistant depression). Like the other psychiatrists in the ECT department, he’s been nothing but considerate. He doesn’t talk down to you like some doctors do nor is he patronizing which is a refreshing change of pace. If you have treatment-resistant depression or otherwise need ECT treatment Dr. Banerjee, like the others in department, are great!
