Dr. Ronnie Salzman, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Salzman for just about 20 years. I have never had a problem, until my most recent 2 appointments. I scheduled an appt. in August and wasn't seen until mid-November, which I accepted, however unhappy, only to be turned away the day of the appt because my blood pressure was elevated. I was having a routine procedure done that day and was dismayed when Dr. Salzman would not continue. I then rescheduled and had to wait 2 more months to be seen. At this appointment, she shamed me for not having had the COVID vaccine. In fact, opened the door to yell to a nurse that I needed a second mask because I wasn't vaccinated. She had no idea who was outside the room listening when she made her announcement. She then proceeded to tell me how disappointed and mad she was with my decision to not vaccinate myself or my children. This is a personal decision and her judgement was not asked for nor warranted. Again in shock by her behavior! Not going to be returning.

Dr Salzman is wonderful and I have no complaints with her at all. The office staff is a different story. No one ever answers the phone, no matter which option you press and no matter what time of day you call. It is nearly impossible to get through to a human being, and when you eventually do, you need to wait 8 months for a routine appointment, partly because the hours are so limited.

The doctor performs far more routine tests than I am used to, but fails to report results, and has prescribed incorrectly for me as a result of this testing. I won't be going back.

I really like Dr. Salzman (knowledgeable, professional and personable) but the office staff and system is atrocious. I finally gave up and left her practice, and I know from a friend it's still the same issues. I rarely got anyone on the phone and instead found looped voicemails. It literally took weeks to get call backs on serious issues, making an appointment or normal prescription renewals. They often changed my appointment and I would get reminder calls of appointments I never made.

The first time I saw Dr. Salzman was for a routine visit. It was a pleasant experience. She was very friendly and felt comfortable with her. However..... the second time I went to her for a medical issue she was extremely rude, unsympathetic, and acted annoyed with me. I was very surprised and walked out feeling upset and confused. I guess if you're going for a routine visit, by all means go to her. But if your going with a concern, I do not recommend going to Dr. Salzman.

Excellent doctor, very knowledgeable, kind, caring and understanding.

First time I saw Dr Saltzmsn I found she was warm and easy to talk to. She recommended a routine pelvic Sonogram as this was my first visit, On the same day I had the test, she called me with the results and said everything was fine.. I appreciate a thoughtful, responsible Dr who thinks enough of their patients to call them even if the test is fine.

I think she is just fabulous! I have had nothing but a good experience and wish there were more women doctors like her!
