Dr. Rory Breidbart, MD

Knowledgeable, experienced, great listener, interested in dialog, easy to talk to, logical, no-nonsense approach, developed a treatment plan with my wishes in mind, I truly felt “heard.” I have a rare blood disorder; Dr. Breidbart knew exactly what it was and how the treatment of it impacts A1C testing. He was truly patient with me. Immediately completed medical necessity documents for my continuous glucose monitor. Office staff were terrific!

I have been a patient of Dr. Breidbart for more than 20 years. During that time, I have found him to be extremely knowledgeable, patient, and compassionate. He adheres to his schedule and have never had to wait more than just a few minutes for my appointment. He gives you a very thorough examination, answers all questions, and always explains his reasons for prescribing medications, and possible side effects. On the rare occasions when I needed to speak to him after office hours, his return call came within 5 - 10 minutes. Blood test results come in the mail within 3 days, with recommendations when necessary. His office people are extremely polite and always go the extra mile to accommodate my schedule. I highly recommend Dr. Breidbart for anyone seeking a kind, competent, compassionate endocrinologist.

I have been going to Dr. Breidbart for many many years. He is the first endocrinologist I have been to that listens to his patients in addition to test results. He is very knowledgable, and down to earth. He makes you feel very comfortable and at ease. The staff is very accommodating and nice. The nurses who take blood are very professional and gentle. They have never had a problem finding my veins (which is not easy to do on my arms). I highly recommend Dr. Breidbart's office to anyone who asks for an endocrinologist, and they have all been happy with my recommendation. I have never waited long either, they are very considerate of everyone's appointment times. If anyone has had a problem in that office the fault does not fall on the side of the office! Wonderful staff!!

Dr. Breidbart has always been thorough and excellent. I disagree with those that complain about a wait time. I have been going to Dr. Breidbart for about 20 years and have never had any complaints. I highly recommend Dr. Breidbart!

Been going to him, has to be over 10 years now and as I look at these other reviews, I think you are all nuts!! I find him to be very friendly, a great conversationalist and extremely professional, knowledgeable and caring. Until he proves other wise he will be my doctor for as long as I live in New York and actually I'd probably come back from wherever to see him.

He is rude and unprofessional. Nasty staff. He ordered medication that could be obtained over the counter and not by prescription. His receptionist said that they don't make adjustments in prescriptions to save the patients money. Would never recommend.

The woman who works in his office is nasty. I wouldn't recommend going here because of the incompetent staff.

I have been a patient of Dr. Breidbart for six years and I have found him to be an excellent physician. He always takes the time to give me a comprehensive examination and Dr. Breidbart is caring and extremely competent and easy to communicate with.

Is he a good doctor, maybe. But he couldn't possibly be more abrasive. How office runs on time and you will not wait, but that's about the only positive. Moving my medical records to my new doctor took a full month and countless phone calls to accomplish. Skip this arrogant doctor and go elsewhere. He may be smart, but he's not worth the attitude.

About 15 years ago I was diagnosed with a pituitary tumor about the size of a pea. My internist recommended that I see Dr. Breidbart who recommended a medication that upon investigating I found that it was very effective but had numerous dangerous side effects. I found there was another medication with equally good results and minimal side effects. When I questioned Dr. Breidbart about this he became very extremely irritated and said he no longer wanted to treat me as his patient. POOR ATTITUDE
