Dr. Rosa Diaz, MD

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I was at 37 weeks when I had an appointment with Dr. Diaz. The practice of Ob's I attend, try to have you meet most of the doctors in their office so that you would have a higher chance of having met the doctor helping you deliver. At that 37 week appointment, Dr.Diaz reduced me to tears. I am overweight and had gestational diabetes (which was being very well-managed by my diet and endocrinologist). But Dr. Diaz was adamant, I would not survive the birth and needed heart meds as a precaution. After that appointment, I asked the nurse and administrators to please never schedule me with her again. Unfortunately, she was the doctor on-call the morning I gave birth. When she did the rounds, she recognized me and before examining all my patient information insisted that I be put on a diabetic diet. When I said fine, but I want to let my endocrinologist know too, she got very upset and said that it wasn't necessary to let my doctor know. Very unprofessional
