I have been a patient of Dr. Bates for 12-15 years and I LOVE DR BATES. Due to my special medical requirements, she has given me strict instructions to see her. Unfortunately as her practice has grown, she is only available on certain days and it is very hard to get an urgent appointment with her. However her staff NEVER HESITATES to get me in if I am sick. The saving grace is that I LOVE DR. BATES! I am not so happy with the office arrangements, although the staff is quite friendly and efficient with me. Although you may have to wait, Dr. Bates NEVER rushes me to get to the next patient. She spends the time I need and answers all my questions. She is worth the wait!

Worst Dr. I have ever been too! I had Encephalitis and she changed all of my MED's that a wonderful Dr. who retired had me taking. I was doing so well until I went to Dr. Bates. She told me to drink wine at night to sleep! Worst bedside manner I've ever encountered as well. DO NOT go to her!

I had put my reviews on the web (probably in Google reviews) few days back when I waited for 2 hrs. from my appointment time and Doctor still didn't show up and I had to leave for my work. I never got any call from Dr. office about any apology or reason for that. Dr. Bates is not actually seeing patients but PAs are. Result of my Google review is , I just got a certified mail saying and I quote here from the letter "Please be advised that I will no longer be able to treat you as a patient".

At this place the doctor never sees you, it is the physician assistant who sees patients. I never felt like visiting a clinic at this place. It felt more like visiting a skin and body beauty salon. They advertise all sorts of body slimming products and beauty procedures to patients. The whole place is full of advertisements for the same. Do yourself a favor and go to a real doctor instead.

I have been a patient of Dr. Bates for over a decade and have been quite disappointed in her care over the past several years. She is never available to her patients and the PA/other doctors do not seem to be capable. I sought other medical opinions initially to find a solution for recurring migraines/stomach issues(her specialty), only to find that she was worsening the problem. In 3 months they were able to fix what she could not in 3 years. They don't even know how to treat a basic infection.

I've only been a patient for about 2 years. It took me a while to get an appointment as a new patient and even so, my first visit was with her P.A. and that wasn't the problem. 1) My wait time in the exam room went from 20 minutes to 45-50 min for a 10-15-min visit in addition to my wait time in the waitroom; 2) After 3 calls from me and 1 from husband, Dr. Bates finally transmitted my pre-op test results that were performed 4 weeks prior to my surgeon the day before.
