Amazing Surgeon
I had an inguinal hernia repair and Dr. Bengtson did an incredible job. He was very thorough before and at the post op. He and his surgical team at St. Joseph's Hospital in Brainerd were tremendous. The repair is healing nicely and everything is getting back to normal. He is very caring and an expert in his field. You should be very comfortable putting your health in the hands of Dr. Bengtson. Thank you Dr. Bengtson!

Simple cyst removal
He was scheduled to remove all three cysts but halfway through he said he only had time to remove two of the cysts; he did not remove the whole cyst on one of them so it grew back and now I have to pay twice for something that should have been done correctly the first time. It is a simple procedure that Essentia always did in clinic but now require a surgeon.

There is zero communicating with this Dr. I had a procedure in his office where he administered no local anesthetic even though there is multiple options. I was screaming on the table in pain, to no care from him. Beware, I never thought something like this was possible in our country.
