Her lakadasycle approch to medicine
Dr. Uranga ingnored a problem and that has led to several years of suffering and multiple opperations my wife has now to go through chemo and it isn't promessing. We asked about a small bump on my wifes temple and Uranga ignored it saying that we will see how it looks next year. After four years she would say the same and ignored my wife's pain. We foound another doctor who found it to be stage 4 cancer. My wife has had three operations to try and stem the cancer's advance, first her salaiva gland and the both lungs. Her face is now distorted from the first surgery and still even after two attemps by plastic surgens to return her natural look. Now we are going to start chemo and they said it would be palative. If Uranga had cared this could have been stopped before our five years of pain and suffering. I noted this to uranga and her reply was 'I'm sorry you feel that way'. If I were to give her a numerical rating it would be a -5 not even a 1. Be carefull with the doctor.

Dr. Uranga was a bad choice for my elderly mother who eventually died of kidney failure. Over the years, my mother developed shortness of breath, inability to swallow, extreme fatigue and a disturbing swollen leg, Dr. Uranga’s idea of care was to give tons of medication for each ailment, when instead she should have put all these symptoms together and come up with the most probable diagnosis of congestive heart failure. By the way, she never mentioned that my mother’s heart had issues or her kidneys, My strong believe is that she had no idea what was plaguing my mother and never bothered to send her to see somebody competent, like an internal doctor specialist who could’ve help her before it was too late. When she became terribly ill, we sent her to ER and the doctor IMMEDIATELY recognized what the problem was. Why couldn’t Dr. Uranga???? I hope this helps if you’re considering having her as your PCP. My opinion is: She’s dangerous to your health.
