A BLESSING TO SOUTHERN IL
Dr. Danks is wonderful surgeon. My wife had to have emergency surgery. He traveled to the hospital where we were & operated on her on a holiday in the middle of the night.

I first met Dr. Danks when I was on the table in the emergency room and basically dying....for lack of a better way to put it he saved my life, literally!! I was septic and had a white blood cell count of about 33,000 (the normal is 4-11,000). He was no nonsense and told me what he recommended, but allowed me the chance to make my own choice. When I made a decision, Dr. Danks was quick to respond to ensure that I had the treatment I needed and required. Follow up visits with Dr. Danks were always informative and helpful. When he felt I needed to see a specialist about any area of treatment, Dr. Danks had no problem referring me rather than seemingly having all the answers. I have seen Dr. Danks in public since this time and he remembers me clearly and asked about my health and I could tell he was sincerely concerned and cared about how I was doing after this ordeal. Would definitely recommend Dr. Danks to anyone for care!!

Amazing surgeon, amazing staff. Some people may take his "non-nonsense" as not caring but that is not the case! He is VERY compassionate! Am SO glad Dr Danks was my surgeon. The staff was fantastic! Nicole took my bill today and was very congenial. There is also a little nurse in there, I totally forgot her name, but she has been with the office for a while. She made me feel like a person - not a number - not a inconvenience! VERY PLEASED!
