When asked if he tightened up the ligaments around a joint where there was instability and a tear, he to my face told me he had, but there was not mention of it in the notes when they were requested. Either he lied to my face, he lied in documentation, or he has poor documentation for major surgical procedures. Pain control was also inadequate. Very, very disappointed that I let him perform my surgery. Snappy dresser, though!

Great reception at desk! Hardly any wait time! Wonderful nurse - quite personable and efficient! Xray technician thorough! Dr. Majors was super! He was friendly but wasted no time in confidently viewing the X-ray, checking my knee out, and giving me a prognosis. He gave me a cortisone shot for knee pain and inflammation, and after one day my knee is pain free. Dr. Majors is an excellent surgeon! Several years ago, he performed an ACL surgery on my right knee from a skiing accident. After rehab, my knee was stronger than it had been before the accident! Dr. Majors is very knowledgeable and experienced in all areas of sport training and injury of the knee and hip. I highly recommend him!!

Went to Dr Majors for a knee issue and he completely avoided eye contact for 90% of the appointment. So odd. Quickly diagnosed me with arthritis (I’m 45 and active) and then gave me a cortisone shot. Strangest appointment ever and I’m hoping that’s all that’s up with my knee.

I went to see this guy with a messed up shoulder. He spent all of 2 minutes in the room with me, was rude and said there was no point in trying to fix it. Then he ordered a plain MRI (when I actually needed an MRA) and my next visit with him was more of the same. Thank goodness I finally got the proper imaging to figure out what was going on, and that I got in with an ortho that actually had the experience to do the capsulorrhaphy and SLAP repair I needed! I will NEVER return to OrthoCarolina

Meeting Dr Majors was a pleasure. His years of experience, expertise and proficiency are evident the moment he enters the room. He takes the time necessary to question you, answer questions, and how he will be proceeding with your diagnosis and treatment. I would highly recommend any and everyone needing to consult an orthopedic Dr to him:)

Dr. Majors did surgery 4 years ago on my right shoulder. Dr. Majors and his team are wonderful. Took a bit to get through physical therapy with the range of motion but once I was over that hump the healing moved along nicely! Now here I am 4 years later and now having trouble with my left shoulder. IF I end up having to have surgery then there is no doubt that my choice will be Dr. Majors and his team! On a side note.. if you need a cortisone shot, he is the man! Hoping this one solves my issue.

Dr.Majors is very knowledgable, friendly (but on the reserved side), and always on time. Being a RN, I know he’s very good at what he does & has lots of experience! He’s able to do shoulder arthroscopy although he doesn’t do replacement of this joint. I was referred to a fellow Ortho for this surgery since I had held off with the arthroscopy for several years. I wish I had done the arthroscopy sooner now.
