Dr. Roy Trawick, MD

I had surgery a little over 2 months ago, and I have my full range of motion back already! I still need to do stretching, and strengthening exercises daily for a while longer but I’m ecstatic with the results, and progress I’ve been able to achieve so far!! Dr Trawick was awesome from start to finish!! I wouldn’t see anyone else for my shoulder’s or knee’s!!

Dr Trawick and his staff are very professional and thorough. Highly recommended in my opinion, visit , xrays and MRI done same day. I only wish follow up appointment for results wasn't so far out.

Dr. Trawick is personable, knowledgeable, and takes the time to explain the best course of action while patiently answering questions. He is the BEST and I feel like I lucked out with his exemplary care. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Dr Trawick did such a good job on my two knee replacements. His because manner was great too! I only wish he could do what he does and leave no pain!! :)

Dr. Trawick's warm and accommodating demeanor, combined with his vast medical knowledge, made me feel truly at ease during my visit. His PA was equally skilled, delivering a precise cortisone shot in all the right spots. I genuinely enjoyed my time with this medical team and highly recommend them. They provide excellent care with a personal touch.

I am 18 months post total shoulder replacement. I am so grateful that Dr. Trawick gave me my quality of life back. I suffered for 4 years in moderate to severe pain in my shoulder. I could not swim, play golf and woke up every half hour during the night in pain. I am now retired, and very active. I sleep pain free, play golf, pickle ball, kayak and play ball with my grandsons. I live in Northern Idaho on a lake & golf course and am living my best life. Thank you Dr. Trawick!

Met with him after having consulted with 4 knee surgeons to prep for my total knee replacements. I heard good things about him but he was the rudest, meanest medical professional I’ve ever met with. At the direction of my current knee doctor, I am seen at a pain clinic and occasionally take a pain med for bone-on-bone knee pain, scoliosis, spinal stenosis, degenerative disc disease in my spine and feet, osteoporosis, and headaches from repeat concussions. At age 47, I’ve had 27 surgeries already. He treated me like a heroin addict off the streets. He refused to operate on me because I take a pain med. He referred to my pain doctor - who had referred me to him - as “a nut job,” info I will definitely be sharing w/her. None of the other 4 knee surgeons have any problem with my current use of a low-dose pain med. He also told me I wouldn’t be able to heal because I have depression and anxiety and shamed me for that as well. He pblames/shames/guilt-trips, which nobody needs in life. P

I was told by another MD I had bone on bone in my knees, Dr Trawick did some xrays and showed me, I only had mild arthritis. Such a great doc who explained everything to me and gave me options. I had an injection in both knees and he was right I felt better by the time I got to my car. What a great guy! Thank you Dr Trawick!

Dr Trawick took the time to explain and answer all my quyabout a shoulder replacement surgery. He also counseled me to hold off any surgery until the shots were not helping. I appreciate his honesty and felt he really cares about me.

Saw Dr. Trawick for a ski injury. He understood exactly the mechanics of the accident and my explanation. Throughly explained the what damage he suspected. We agreed on a treatment plan that didn’t include surgery initially. Has a conservative approach to treatment. Getting the appointment was quick and easy. Staff is professional and friendly. Overall a good experience.

I was impressed at how fast I was able to get. He was very informative and sent me on my way to get an MRI today. However, they didn’t let the gal making appointments for imaging know that I was waiting in the lobby…so it took twice as long to get an appointment set up. This was my first appointment with Dr Trawick, but he came highly recommended. I still have a lot of questions to be answered but am waiting for my results of the MRI.

I have known Dr. Trawick for many years. He is very personable and caring. This past year I have had him perform total knee replacements on both of my knees. Great results. He and his staff are great. I would highly recommend him as an orthopedic surgeon.

Doctor Trawick is a great surgeon and someone I’d recommend anyone to for knee surgery. Him and his team were able to get my mom in for both consult and surgery within 3-days after she had an accident and shattered her knee cap/patella. I called them the first day while she was in ER, they got her in the second day, and then she was in surgery on day 3- phenomenal is an understatement that both a surgeon and a collective team is this organized and skilled at treating knee injuries. Scheduling has been a breeze, everything has been incredibly organized and easy which is so critical as a caretaker for family members/parents during a stressful time. This team makes it easy and there is a very stark difference in their expertise, professionalism, and efficiency in treating these types of injuries.
