Excellent experience with Dr. Winslow, very thorough and attentive to all of my questions and concerns. Excellent surgeon, very minimal pain from my breast biopsies.

Dr. Winslow was very friendly and took the time to fully explain my procedure (hernia surgery) and answer all my questions. Surgery went off with no problems and was able to be ‘back at em’ in just a few days. Highly recommend him to anyone needing a general surgeon

I had Laparoscopic Surgery last Dec. 21 at the Lakeland Regional General Hospital. Days before the surgery, preparation was meticulous and organized. Information related to surgery was provided. Staff did their part well. They answered my concerns. Dr. Roy Winslow is friendly and ready-to-listen type of person. I sensed his high competence in his specialty during the visit. This greatly helped make me feel at ease knowing the surgery will be OK. The first two days after the surgery were as expected were not without pain esp. when the effect of the general anesthesia subsided. Meds and rest helped. During the post-surgery visit, Dr. Winslow answered my concerns. I highly recommend Dr. Winslow for his services. He more than met my expectations. Thanks also for the supporting staff (too numerous to mention). Hospital facilities and environment was excellent. Job well done. Will take good care of my health. Too precious to lose.

My family saw Dr. Winslow in a 4 month period for two different surgeries (gallbladder and lumpectomy. Both surgeries went very well and we both felt that we are in the best hands with him as our surgeon and his team! He took the time to explain the entire process to us in a lot of details before and after which made my scary surgery so much easier.

Dr. Winslow is a skilled surgeon with many years of experience. His skill is exceeded only by the compassion and care he demonstrates to his patients and their families. He spent over 4 hours on my robotic surgery in an effort to avoid a more major surgery and recovery. Thank you doctor.

Listens and listens again. Beside manor is phenomenal. He's compassionate and so knowledgeable. He's "worth the wait" if running behind due to an emergency OR being on call saving someone else's life.

Dr Winslow is just the very best doctor in our area. He is personable, kind, talented, and a genuine caring doctor. I feel he has very good judgment and is a very skilled doctor. At the initial visit Dr. Winslow explained the situation I had and patiently helped me think through the best treatment. The day of surgery was well explained and all my questions were answered by the team of professionals. And Dr. Winslow came by just before I went into surgery and explained what he was going to do and even asked my wife if she had any questions. As I awoke out of surgery, Dr. Winslow was there again making sure all was well - and explained how the surgery went and again answered all my questions. The post surgery follow-up office call was simple and once again he gave me information of lab results and answered all my questions. The whole process with Dr. Winslow and staff was personal and caring. Hands down, I would recommend Dr. Winslow as your surgeon.

He treated me with respect, answered all my questions, made me feel at ease and less scared, did a great job with surgery and made sure I could nurse my newborn baby through this whole process. Called me as soon as he had the benign results so I could have peace of mind. To me Dr Winslow checks all the boxes that a doctor should check. Definitely recommend him as a surgeon!

Dr. Winslow preformed a double hernia repair using the Da Vinci robot. Everything went perfect. Recovery was only a few days. No iccues. I would recommend Dr. Winslow.
