Dr. Ruban Nirmalan, MD

The Dr wasn't too bad, but his scheduler was horrible. I told her I couldn't do anything in August, she said how about August 8th. I said no, I can't do that because of work (he said that I would be off work for a week). She said how about August 22nd because he only does this every other Monday at the place that they wanted to do it. I said that it wasn't going to work because I would never be able to get that week off of work. She got very upset and said wait a minute. She came back and said that there was an opening on August 11th. Again, I said August wouldn't work at all and that particular day, I was one of only two people that were going to be in the office, so that was a no go. Then, she said that I would have to go back out to where I checked in and make an appointment with a different doctor. She then just walked away. VERY unprofessional.

Terrible Bariatric sleeve surgery resulted in a leak, sepsis, A fib, 5 hospitals, and 5 months of disaster. Life long medical problems from the antibiotics used to fight the sepsis caused by the sleeve leak.

Great Surgan, I went in for an appendectomy, he came in explained everything super well and did a fantasic job doing the surgery. I really would recommend him for anyone I know who has an appendicitis.

Very thorough exam. Didn't want to just rush in to surgery. Listened to what I had to say and explained things clearly.

Horrible experience. I am in sever pain and was able to get an appointment with Nirmalan and was considering going to the emergency room or seeing him. I decided to see him instead. He would not listen to me and said I should be on medication for 2 weeks and seen again. I kept telling him I am in too much pain and cannot stand 2 weeks but he said the other option is to refer you which will take 2-3 weeks. Basically NOTHING. I do NOT recommend him.
