Being in my early 20s and looking young, I feel like most doctors don’t take me seriously. Dr. Aymerich always treats me so respectfully and answers all my questions. I can tell he really cares!

Perforated bowel
I STRONGLY ADVISE READING. This doctor advised to have him perform a colonoscopy on me. He then, perforated my lower bowel while removing a small polyp. I woke up in severe pain, how're he told it was just loose air. I kept in contact with his office for the next day and half, before they told me to seek medical attention, immediately. I had gone septic, had two emergency surgeries, one resulting in having to receive a colostomy bag and losing over a foot of colon, both that will affect me forever. I spent 20 days in the hospital, septic, PICC line, colostomy, jp drains, body disfigured, bladder is still not fully functional and the list goes on. I couldn't work due to infection after infection, mountain of medical bills, debt, uncovered expensive prescriptions to stay alive, car repossessed, loans to keep my fridge full and bills paid, lifelong health issues/prescriptions/maintenance needed. All of which, could have been avoided if he reported what he did, to me or the hospital.
