Has a horrible bedside manner. Operated on my toe, now I have permanent nerve damage. Had horrible burning in my leg, he kept telling me it was my back. It turns out I had blood clots. I would go to another Dr. he could care less about patients. That is my opinion!! Wish I never went to him.

Very disappointed
A little over a year ago I had ankle tendon surgery by Dr. Zak. As I started rehab, I complained about lack of feeling and dead zones in certain areas of my foot. I was told it would take time but would change over time. I repeated this concern numerous times including the last visit I had with Dr. Zak when I explained that nothing had changed. Thirteen months later there has been little change and my foot is still not right and at no time has that office reached out to me.

Excellent Doctor
There are many qualified doctors around, but unfortunately they have one foot out the door while they talk to you because they have other patients waiting. Dr. Zak is not like that. He seems to care. He answered my questions and I did not feel rushed. I highly recommend him and his staff.

Dr. Zak is an angel. I fractured my ankle pretty badly in June 2019. Had a horrible experience with my first surgeon and was in severe pain for months. I was referred to Dr. Zak and after another surgery I am finally walking around again and back to work. I am so thankful for Dr. Zak as I felt hopeless before I was under his care. Thank you for everything. Your patience, kindness, and dedication makes all the difference for someone going through a tough time after a traumatic injury.

I am a 65 year old female, that had end-stage arthritis in one ankle. I have waited and suffered 10 years, until I felt the ankle replacement surgery was a viable option. I went to Dr. Rudolf Zak because he came highly recommended from the research I had done. I had been to multiple doctors in the past that wanted to fused the ankle. He recommended I have my ankle replaced with the Wright Infinity Ankle Prosthesis and lengthening of my Achillies Tendon. The whole experience from the Surgical Center, the Staff, Dr. Zak, PhysicalTherapy, was first class. I was weight bearing in 4 weeks and have not looked back. I feel as though Dr. Zak gave me my life back. Thank you for being there for me Dr. Zak. I am so thankful, happy and back to walking without pain 6-7 miles a day.

At my 2nd office visit with the MRI in hand, I had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Zak. After he viewed the MRI I needed extensive foot, tendon & ligament surgery. I am now 12 weeks post op and recovering well and walking much better than pre surgery!! If anyone is looking for a knowledgeable, caring, and competent/skilled foot surgeon, I highly recommend Dr. Zak, he is definitely a great surgeon as I walking proof!! I can’t thank Dr. Zak, Katie and Vanessa enough for their kindness, caring and how accommodating they were with the scheduling of my ankle/foot surgery!

Dr. Zak is an excellent foot ankle surgeon. He repaired my ruptured heel tendon and he truly is the doctor with the golden hands! Everything has worked out seamless for me, no infection or complications from the aftermath of my surgery and no scarring from the surgery on the back of my heel and calf. I feel back to normal again. I’ve come so far and feel good again.

He properly diagnosed the issue (I was previously told a reason for my fracture was tight calf muscles which would turn my foot one direction, and Dr. Zak said it would actually turn the opposite direction, so the other doctor was incorrect). My mom went to him for her feet as well. She was thinking about getting surgery. He gave her the proper advice which she found out after seeing three doctors and realizing, again, one doctor was incorrect. Do yourself a favor and see this guy!

Dr Zak and his staff are thorough and kind and patient. He explained to me what my treatment options were and possible outcomes so I could make an informed decision about my treatment. He has a lot of experience and he takes pride in his work. He is confident without being condescending so I was reassured that I was taking the right course of action for my healing.

Dr Rudolf Zak has hands of gold. He operated on my 5th metatarsal and rehabilitation is going great. I would recommend Dr. Zak to anyone. His staff and clinical assistant, Katie Trauner, were very professional and helpful during the entire process from beginning to end. I thank the entire staff and doctors at Mercer Bucks Orthopaedics. When I first met with him, he immediately knew that instead of the hours of PT that others had sent me to for my foot pain, he ordered an MRI, which came back positive for a torn Achilles Tendon. He scheduled surgery for me, and I was taken care of very well. He's very knowledgeable. Dr. Zak is very caring about his patients.
